For those navigating the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, and seeking an extended-stay option, the Residence Inn Philadelphia Conshohocken presents itself as a notable choice. Located at 191 Washington St, Conshohocken, PA 19428, USA, and contactable via phone at (610) 828-8800 or +1 610-828-8800, this Marriott-branded hotel is specifically designed to cater to guests requiring longer stays, offering apartment-style suites with home-like amenities.
The Residence Inn Philadelphia Conshohocken is situated on Washington Street, a location that offers a blend of convenience and urban-edge characteristics. Conshohocken itself is a vibrant borough, known for its corporate presence, burgeoning restaurant scene, and accessibility to various parts of the greater Philadelphia area. The hotel's position provides good access to local businesses and a dynamic atmosphere.
A distinctive environmental factor for this particular Residence Inn is its proximity to the SEPTA regional rail line. While this offers convenient public transportation options for some guests, it also means that train noise can be a factor, as acknowledged by the hotel's provision of earplugs. This proximity places it in a more active, less secluded setting compared to hotels further removed from transit hubs. However, for guests who rely on public transport or appreciate being close to the urban pulse, this can be an advantage.
The area surrounding the hotel, while urban, offers accessibility to the Schuylkill River Trail for recreation and local dining establishments that contribute to Conshohocken's growing appeal. Guests can explore the local charm of Conshohocken, which balances its industrial heritage with modern development. For those traveling to nearby corporate offices or seeking access to downtown Philadelphia without being directly in the city, the location provides a practical base.
The hotel building itself, as suggested by a customer review, might have a history prior to becoming a Residence Inn or simply be an older property within the brand. This can influence the overall aesthetic and the need for ongoing maintenance, which is a key point of feedback.
As a Residence Inn, this property is specifically tailored for extended stays, meaning its services and amenities go beyond those of a standard hotel room. The focus is on providing a functional living space. Key offerings include:
The distinguishing features of Residence Inn Philadelphia Conshohocken, particularly as an extended-stay hotel, are centered around the "home away from home" concept:
However, customer feedback reveals some critical features and aspects that warrant attention:
As a Marriott property, Residence Inn Philadelphia Conshohocken participates in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. Guests can earn and redeem points for stays, and elite members typically receive benefits such as complimentary Wi-Fi and potentially late check-out. Promotions might include discounted rates for extended stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates), special packages for corporate clients, or seasonal offers. It is advisable to check the Marriott website or contact the hotel directly for any current promotions.
Customer reviews for this particular Residence Inn highlight a stark contrast between the brand's typical reputation and the actual guest experience. While the "staff was very friendly when checking in," this positive aspect is often overshadowed by significant operational and maintenance concerns.
The most critical feedback revolves around the poor state of maintenance and cleanliness in the rooms, with specific examples like broken fixtures and leftover food from previous guests. Such issues are highly unexpected for a Marriott-branded property and can severely undermine guest satisfaction. The dissatisfaction with the breakfast service, particularly the reported abruptness and rudeness of staff during food removal, further detracts from the stay experience. The mention of "hard beds" also points to comfort issues. These factors collectively led one guest to state they "would not stay again" despite the booking being made for them, and express a preference for Hilton-branded hotels in the future. The hotel's provision of earplugs, while helpful for noise, also inadvertently highlights a potential drawback of its location.
In conclusion, Residence Inn Philadelphia Conshohocken offers the core features of an extended-stay hotel, including spacious suites with full kitchens, which are highly desirable for guests needing longer accommodations. Its location in Conshohocken provides good access to corporate centers and public transportation. However, potential guests searching "Hotels Near Of Me" must be aware of significant and recurring concerns raised in customer reviews regarding maintenance, cleanliness, and the quality of breakfast service. While individual staff friendliness can be a positive, these operational shortcomings can lead to a less than ideal experience, particularly for those with higher expectations from the Marriott brand. Prospective visitors might consider verifying the current state of the rooms and amenities directly with the hotel or reviewing very recent feedback before booking, especially for an extended stay.

Get directionsI suspect this was a different branded hotel prior to it becoming a Residence Inn (or it's quite old). The maintenance is lacking. In a 2 bedroom suite, the door to one of the bedrooms was broken (through the wood), the sink in one of the bathrooms wouldn't drain, and the opposite toilet would not stop running unless the mechanism inside the tank was manipulated). The refrigerator door was bent in and the handle was barely hanging on to the door. And we found a previous guest's piece of broccoli in the pull-out bed. I expect more from this brand based on previous experience, so this was surprising. We only stayed one night, so it wasn't worth a room change, but I did notify the desk at checkout. If I had the choice, I'd stay Hilton branded hotels every time, but this was booked for me (but I paid for the room). Would not stay again. I wasn't bothered by the SEPTA line outside, but the hotel does provide multiple sets of earplugs to try to make sleep on the hard beds slightly easier.
Mar 03, 2025 · Andrea HonigmannThe room was nice, staff was very friendly when checking in. Was very taken aback at breakfast a man was finishing cooking his waffle when the staff came in literally turned off all electricity & started taking the food & beverages away ... he asked to put the electricity back on so he could finish.... they ignored him & kept taking things away... beyond wrong & rude. I understand people have jobs to do but quite frankly they could have let him finish cooking his waffle
May 14, 2025 · Mary TobinNice and roomy with a full sized refrigerator in the kitchenette. Would have preferred a king bed, but we made do with a queen. Located right by train tracks, but the whistles were not bothersome. One morning on our way out for the day, we dropped off a list of maintenance issues. We were impressed that most of them had been addressed by the time we returned that evening!
Dec 12, 2024 · Annette TyraRight next to train track. Convient to downtown. AC units need some help but the service from front desk and breakfast area was really nice. Clean and straight forward place to stay.
May 17, 2025 · Charles BearhamI will say the staff is friendly and it is in a great location The thing that really upsets me about the say is not the out dated rooms I could handle that, what upset me was the reason I chose this hotel was for the pool and hot tub. Having said that the pool was very dirty and so was the hot tub. We stayed for 3 days the first day and a half The hot tub was so dirty. We did not go in. They did clean it the evening before we left. So I chose this Hotel, specifically for that reason and was unable to use them! The room was outdated, but was very clean. I didn’t mind the train. I will have to save the breakfast. I had a very large variety if I would’ve known the breakfast was that good and many varieties I would have chose a room without a kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I don’t think I would choose this hotel due to the cleanliness of the hot tub and pool. It is sad because I enjoyed my stay otherwise. Also paying for parking
