Hidden hotel off Route 9 in Poughkeepsie, nice hotel but breakfast choices could be better. No waffles, dry flavorless scrambled eggs each of my 3 mornings there with a change of sausage, either links or patties and than they had ham slices one morning. No potatoes offered, out one muffin choice ( blueberry ), orange juice was very watered down and they 2 other juices and 2 milk choices. The pool and hot tubs were nice to use but wished it was open til 10pm rather than 8pm. Comfy bed. I'd go back again for the convenience and for the nice big room with a kitchen and couch to use.

The reviews generally paint a positive picture, highlighting key strengths while also pointing out minor areas for improvement.
One reviewer describes the hotel as a "Nice hotel" that is "hidden off Route 9," appreciating the convenience and the "nice big room with a kitchen and couch to use." This strongly supports the hotel's core offering of spacious, apartment-style accommodations. The "comfy bed" also contributes to a positive stay. Specific complaints include "No waffles, dry flavorless scrambled eggs each of my 3 mornings," lack of potatoes, limited muffin options (blueberry), and "very watered down" orange juice. This indicates a consistent issue with the quality and variety of the complimentary breakfast. Feb 11, 2025 · Julie Ruby3.5. Location was central to where I needed to be, less than 10 minutes from the CIA and only minutes away from other shops and restaurants. Staff was accommodating, continental breakfast was more than sufficient, and the coffee was brewed nicely. The rooms are nice in that they have a small kitchenette and full size fridge.
Apr 25, 2025 · Renee TophiaThe hotel, staff, and breakfast is great. The issue is have is the credit card holds. I am staying for 14 days and have had more then 3500 dollars held on my debit card. I complained to the front desk and was told it would happen again. Right after I talked to the front desk I had a 1500 dollar hold added, then a 1000 dollar charge and now that I am 1300 overdrawn they tried to charge me 890. I am here on business and now have no money for gas or food until they return the money. I check out this weekend so there should be not action needed for my bill til then.
Mar 11, 2025 · Walter HillDecent experience. Rooms were acceptable. Staff was excellent. Though maintenance team was short on supplies & replacement light bulbs. No complaints. Continental breakfast was better then expected.
Dec 31, 2024 · G MANIFESSVery convenient to IBM Poughkeepsie, which is pretty much walking distance. Also good for getting other places in Poughkeepsie as well. Rooms were spacious albeit a bit too open. Sleeping area and living room kinda run together. Clean place, and the Breakfast was top notch.
