I went with my friend for a 2 night getaway in March. We could only book 2 nights because they close during the week in March. I have been staying at the ranch since my kids were little 30 years. So much to do and staff is always super welcoming. Food is always plentiful and a variety of options. The best part is you can park, and not have to drive anywhere until you leave. Tons of things to do!

Its address on N Sherman Lake Rd suggests a setting close to nature, likely featuring forests, open spaces, and possibly direct access to or views of Sherman Lake. The overall environment is designed to be family-friendly and welcoming, fostering a sense of community and adventure. This is not a typical sterile hotel environment; instead, it's a vibrant, active resort where the outdoors plays a central role. The atmosphere is one of relaxed rustic charm combined with ample opportunities for engagement and fun. The accommodations, described as "Adirondack accommodations," suggest comfortable, perhaps cabin-style or lodge-style lodging that blends seamlessly with the natural landscape, providing a cozy and authentic regional experience. The fact that guests can park their car upon arrival and not need it again until departure underscores the self-contained nature of the resort, allowing for a truly stress-free and immersive vacation where everything you need is on-site.
As an all-inclusive ranch resort, Ridin-Hy Ranch offers a comprehensive array of services designed to provide a hassle-free vacation. The most frequently praised service is the "plentiful" and "variety of options" in food, indicating that meals are a significant part of the all-inclusive package and cater to diverse tastes. This means guests typically don't have to worry about additional dining expenses or finding restaurants off-site. The staff is consistently described as "super welcoming" and "super fun," highlighting a commitment to guest satisfaction and creating a friendly, engaging atmosphere. This level of hospitality is a hallmark of the Ridin-Hy experience. The all-inclusive model means that many activities and amenities are covered within the stay, simplifying vacation planning and budgeting. While specific details on room service or daily housekeeping frequency are not provided in the reviews, it's standard for all-inclusive resorts to maintain a high level of cleanliness and guest support. While specific year-round "promotional information" like seasonal discounts or loyalty programs might not be explicitly detailed in general reviews, Ridin-Hy Ranch's primary promotion lies in its all-inclusive value and the legacy of satisfied returning guests. For local users searching "Hotels Near Of Me" and interested in a unique Adirondack experience, the ranch's consistent positive word-of-mouth and multi-generational appeal serve as powerful endorsements. Potential guests should directly contact the ranch via phone at (518) 494-2742 or +1 518-494-2742 to inquire about specific packages, availability, and rates. As one review mentions, they "could only book 2 nights because they close during the week in March," indicating that the ranch might have seasonal operating hours or minimum stay requirements, especially during off-peak times. Therefore, direct communication is vital for understanding current offerings and booking windows. Families often book well in advance, especially for popular summer and winter holiday periods, due to the high demand and the unique nature of the all-inclusive ranch experience. Any "promotions" would likely be tied to specific themed weeks, early booking incentives for peak seasons, or special packages for larger groups, rather than last-minute discounts. The best way to learn about any ongoing specials or unique opportunities would be through their official website or by calling the reservation line directly, ensuring access to the most accurate and up-to-date information for planning an unforgettable Adirondack ranch vacation.

Mar 02, 2025 · Jeffery HarterOverall excellent experience and stay at Ridin-Hy Ranch Resort! We traveled with 4 adults and 4 small kids in February 2025. We booked for two nights, and we were having such a great time that we extended our stay another night! We had two joining lodge 300 rooms. The rooms were nicely arranged and very clean! Two things about the rooms we felt were strange and need mention: 1) The room doors were to be kept unlocked, unless we were inside the room. There is a small safe in each room for keeping valuables, but still... 2) None of the rooms have TVs. However, there are a few lounge tvs. Neither of these things were a deal breaker for us, but we thought it was strange and were not made aware of before arriving. The amenities and activities were great and varied every day! We fully used and enjoyed all the things they had to offer there for the winter season. All of the staff were absolutely excellent and accommodating! Highly recommend Ridin-Hy! We will be back!
Feb 13, 2025 · Sharee FinkGreat family trip. Great experience. Highly suggested. If you are a foodie, the food is ok to good. Adequate for a family style event and you won't go hungry. The events are great, fun was had by all.
Mar 03, 2025 · Thomas BettuaIt was great fun for the entire family, and it was all-inclusive (minus alcholic beverages). My family of 4 (2 girls 17 & 14) visited during the winter and enjoyed ourselves so much. We spent 2 nights at Rydin Hy and stayed in their high-top rooms, which had 2 rooms, allowing us to separate the kids from the adults. There was plenty of activities for everyone in the winter from horseback trail riding (why we went in the first place) snowmobiling, skiing (small hill but enough to be enjoyable and great for beginners) snowtubing (you do need to walk your tubes up) ice skating (rink was small it was in the basketball court) and there was soo many more activities that we did not experience like rock climbing, mechanical bull riding, and archery. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks were included, and the food was good with choices for my entire family. The staff were excellent all very nice and helpful when needed. We are looking to go back during summer or the fall to experience some of their warm weather activities.
