We were looking for a last minute getaway to enjoy the fall foliage.. and we were so pleased with the cabin there. The owners were responsive and very accommodating. Cabin was very well kept, the interior was the exact cabin feel we wanted with the gas fireplace, and all. We enjoyed making bon fire each night using the firewood provided, and several steps away from the most serene view of the lake with full access to the canoes. The whole town was super friendly to guests that came from all over. We absolutely loved it and definitely would try to come again!

The property is well-maintained, blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings, featuring ample outdoor space for relaxation and activities. The cabins themselves contribute to the authentic "cabin feel," providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere that resonates with the Adirondack spirit. This hands-on approach to hospitality significantly enhances the guest experience, ensuring needs are met promptly and courteously. While the property primarily offers self-catering cabins, the provision of firewood for bonfires is a thoughtful service that adds to the authentic cabin experience, allowing guests to enjoy evenings by the fire under the stars. The cabins are consistently praised for being "exceptionally clean" and "very well kept," reflecting a high standard of maintenance and attention to detail. While specific amenities beyond canoes and bonfires are not detailed in the reviews, the overall impression is one of abundant recreational opportunities. These likely include outdoor spaces for relaxation, perhaps picnic areas, and direct lake access for swimming, fishing, or simply enjoying the view. The consistent return of families over "fifteen times over the last twenty or so years" underscores the property's enduring appeal and its ability to create lasting memories. It strikes a balance, offering sufficient space and activities to prevent feeling "alone in the wilderness," yet maintaining a private and intimate atmosphere that distinguishes it from larger, more impersonal resorts. The emphasis on "cleanliness" and the "wonderful place in so many ways" reflects a holistic positive experience that guests consistently enjoy.
For those using "Hotels Near Of Me" to find unique Adirondack lodging, Lakeside at Loon Lake's primary "promotional information" comes through the enthusiastic endorsements of its past and returning guests. The consistent positive reviews highlighting its unique cabin experience, exceptional cleanliness, accommodating owners, and array of amenities are powerful advertisements. While the property might not engage in large-scale commercial hotel promotions with percentage discounts or loyalty programs in the traditional sense, its value proposition is deeply rooted in the quality of the experience it offers. Potential guests are encouraged to directly contact Lakeside at Loon Lake at (518) 494-3965 or +1 518-494-3965. This direct communication is crucial for inquiring about availability, rates, and any specific cabin features or seasonal offerings. Given its popularity and the loyalty of its repeat clientele, it is advisable to book well in advance, especially for peak seasons like fall foliage, summer, and winter holidays. Any "promotions" would likely be informal or communicated directly, perhaps through special arrangements for extended stays or off-season visits. The ability to enjoy "bon fire each night using the firewood provided" and "full access to the canoes" are inherent benefits that act as ongoing value-adds, distinguishing it from properties with hidden costs. Lakeside at Loon Lake essentially promotes itself through the promise of a consistently excellent, authentic, and truly memorable Adirondack cabin getaway.

Nov 20, 2019 · Nur Akmar NaimMy entire family and I have gone here about fifteen times over the last twenty or so years, and plan to continue going up as often as possible. Truly a wonderful place in so many ways. Exceptionally clean cabins; plenty of parking; tons of amenities; large enough to feel like you're not alone in the wilderness, but not so large that you feel like you're in a resort; short driving distance to many attractions and excellent restaurants; and some of the friendliest and most helpful owners you'll ever meet. Can't recommend this place enough!
Nov 04, 2018 · Michael BroderickThis is a fabulous place to stay for a getaway. Our group rented the house and loved the flexibility offered. We made this our base camp and then took Motorcycle rides to Lake George, Lake Placid, Ft. Ticonderoga, East Dorset Vermont and other towns. Plenty of bedroom space, bathroom space and parking. Fire pit and outdoor grill too. It's across from the lake so a short walk to the beach to enjoy the serenity of the water.
Nov 03, 2016 · Sheila DavisLakeside at Loon Lake is an amazing getaway! They are seriously one in a million. These cabins are extremely cozy and well kept. Fireplaces on the inside and fire pits right outside of your cabin. This was a surprise for my wife for our first anniversary and she couldn’t have been happier. Walt is great. He is down to earth and extremely accommodating! He even had a bottle of wine for us in light of our anniversary. A strong 5 stars and we will 110% be returning in the future.
