North Creek Lodge exceeded our expectations. The family suite was very spacious and provided everything we needed. The food at the restaurant was very good and the free breakfast was perfect (all we needed). The best part though was the manager, Melissa. She was so friendly, responsive and helpful. Really delightful person and you don't see this warm customer service often anymore. Highly recommend staying here!

However, the most compelling promotional aspect comes directly from guest testimonials, which consistently praise the exceptional customer service. This aspect truly sets North Creek Lodge apart. One guest specifically lauded the manager, Melissa, for being "so friendly, responsive and helpful," describing her as a "truly delightful person" and noting that such "warm customer service" is rare to find nowadays. This sentiment is echoed in another remarkable review that highlights the "above and beyond" service provided by Amanda, a staff member.
In this particular incident, after a family realized they had left their son's beloved "Peter Rabbit" stuffed animal behind following a day at Gore Mountain, Amanda took extraordinary measures. She not only diligently searched for and located the lost item but also went as far as to send a picture to the anxious son to reassure him and promised to take good care of Peter until he could be returned. As promised, Amanda overnighted Peter, restoring "peace in the kingdom." The story gained an even more incredible dimension when the postmaster reached out to Amanda to confirm Peter's safe return. This level of personalized care and dedication to guest satisfaction is a powerful testament to the lodge's commitment to its patrons, turning what could have been a distressing situation into a memorable example of outstanding service. These real-life accounts underscore the lodge's philosophy of making guests feel valued and cared for, fostering loyalty and highly positive recommendations. Feb 21, 2025 · Lindsay TristineCheck in/out was effortless and the location to the Mtn. was ideal. The rooms were all we needed but what made our experience 5/5 was the customer service we received; it was truly above and beyond. After a great day at Gore and a 3 hour drive home, we realized we left our son’s beloved “Peter Rabbit” stuffed animal behind and the series of events that took place made me a customer for life. Anyone who knows…knows…this was a big deal. After searching the house, car, bags, etc. to exhaustion, I called the office. She didn’t have to but Amanda took the time to search high and low to locate Peter. She understood the assignment and went as far to send us a picture of Peter to ease our son’s mind and promised to take good care of him until he could get home. As promised, Amanda overnighted Peter and peace was restored in the kingdom. What makes this story even more incredible was that the postmaster reached out to Amanda to check in and see if Pete had made his way home. I had anticipated that the weekend was going to be special, but I had no idea. Faith in humanity restored.
Apr 21, 2025 · Tony GianfagnaOur stay was ok. The room was clean, very basic accommodation. Check in was easy enough, the family suite was just a big room with two beds and an air mattress on a day bed. You can tell they’re trying to make this place into something but it’s still in progress. Little things like putting soap and shampoo in the rooms, or having coffee cups to go with the coffee maker would make a huge difference. Breakfast was ok, didn’t try any other meals. Good location close to Gore. I’d stay here again for just a quick stop.
Mar 14, 2025 · G JThis is an overpriced motel. Rooms were in disrepair, with the floors being wonky and peeling. The rings were not properly cleaned, the comforter had clearly not been washed from the previous guests and the floor needed to be vacuumed. Only a single small pillow for each person pulled the comfort down as well. The breakfast was very disappointing - a single yoplait left at 8:15, some muffins that were not very enticing, a total of 7 pieces cut fruit and the plainest toast. The location is great with less than 10 min drive to mnt Gøre, but the price is not justified with the state of the accommodations. Would not recommend it if you can find another place.
Mar 01, 2025 · JosefineIt was adequate... It's a basic ski bum hotel. The room was clean. The snow wasn't even shoveled (for days) on the steps outside the room. The breakfast was... sparce and disorganized. The thin drapes let a ton of light in. No hair dryer. The in-room coffee was a 2oz bag which is for a larger pot than the maker, so I suppose you were supposed to guess... The mattress sagged A LOT in the middle. But with the help of Ambien it was "adequate"
