Rodeway Inn Introduce

For individuals and travelers seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Brooklawn, NJ area, the Rodeway Inn, situated at 801 Crescent Blvd, Brooklawn, NJ 08030, USA, presents itself as a budget-conscious accommodation option. This introduction aims to provide a detailed and objective overview of the hotel, combining its known address and brand with direct customer feedback to inform potential local users about what they might expect. We will cover its environment, services, features, and any implied promotional aspects, adhering strictly to the provided information.

The environment of the Rodeway Inn in Brooklawn, NJ, is characterized by its location on Crescent Blvd. This is likely a main thoroughfare in the area, offering convenient access to local amenities. Brooklawn is a small borough in Gloucester County, New Jersey, located close to the Delaware River and the city of Camden, and offers relatively easy access to Philadelphia. Its position makes it a viable option for travelers looking for lodging outside of Philadelphia's city center while still being within a reasonable commuting distance, or for those needing to stay in the South Jersey region. The fact that it is "close to all the stores" and "walkable" suggests that guests have immediate access to shopping, dining, or other conveniences in the vicinity. For users searching "Hotels Near Of Me" within this specific suburban context, the Rodeway Inn's location offers practical accessibility to local commercial hubs.

Regarding services, the Rodeway Inn offers several fundamental services, albeit with certain limitations as noted by guests. One significant positive is the hotel's willingness to "work with" guests on pet fees, charging a one-time fee of $23 despite a posted daily rate of $20. This flexibility regarding pet accommodation is a distinct advantage for travelers with pets, who often find it challenging to locate budget-friendly, pet-welcoming hotels. However, other service aspects reveal areas for improvement. Guests may need to "specifically ask" for a TV remote, implying they are not standard in all rooms upon arrival. Vending machines for snacks and drinks are available but are cash/coin only, with the soda machine frequently breaking. Laundry facilities are also coin-only. These operational quirks suggest a need for guests to be prepared with cash for certain amenities. The overall service seems to align with a budget motel experience, where basic needs are met but without the extensive amenities or seamless convenience of higher-tier hotels.

The features of the Rodeway Inn, as described by customer reviews, present a mixed bag, particularly concerning cleanliness and room condition. On the more critical side, guests have reported significant issues such as "cigarette burn holes in the linens," "body fluids and old food on the walls," "rust everywhere" in the shower, and "makeup smeared on the bed sheets and pillows." One guest dramatically stated the room was "maybe 1 step up from sleeping in your car" due to these conditions. This feedback highlights severe concerns regarding hygiene and maintenance, which are critical for any lodging establishment. Other reported issues include "sheet thin" covers, although the AC/heat units are noted as "powerful." The physical state of the room also extended to amenities, with some rooms lacking a TV remote. The presence of laundry facilities, even if coin-operated, is a useful feature, especially for longer stays. The pet-friendly policy, despite the fee, is also a key feature for relevant travelers. The rooms are equipped with AC/heat units, which are functional, offering climate control for guest comfort.

One guest's detailed account provides further insights into the room features and condition: "cigarette burn holes," "body fluids and old food on the walls," "rust everywhere" in the shower, and "makeup smeared on the bed sheets and pillows." This clearly indicates a significant lapse in cleanliness and maintenance. Another customer, however, gave a 5-star rating "because the second time I booked I was prepared for the cons." This perspective suggests that for a very specific type of traveler, particularly those on a tight budget who prioritize location and flexibility with pet fees over pristine conditions, the hotel might meet their expectations. It's also noted that when booking through "Super" (likely a third-party booking platform), discounted rates for a king bed plus a dog were secured, ranging from $55-$87 nightly, which for some, might justify the condition. The hotel's phone number is (856) 456-6688 or +1 856-456-6688 for direct inquiries.

Promotional information, while not explicitly stated, is implicitly tied to its budget-friendly price point and pet-friendly policy. The guest's experience of securing discounted rates through "Super" suggests that the hotel is actively listed on third-party booking platforms and may offer competitive pricing there. The flexible pet fee policy, which deviated favorably from the posted daily rate, can also be seen as a promotional aspect, appealing to pet owners looking for more affordable options. For those searching "Hotels Near Of Me" with severe budget constraints or a specific need for pet-friendly accommodation where cost is paramount, the Rodeway Inn might position itself as a viable option. However, any booking should be made with a clear understanding of the trade-offs in cleanliness and general room condition as detailed by multiple customer reviews. Guests are advised to have "extra cash available if staying long enough to do laundry" due to the coin-only machines, indicating a need for self-preparedness. The price point of "$89 bucks a night" is explicitly mentioned, setting a clear expectation for the cost of a stay.

In conclusion, for local users searching "Hotels Near Of Me" in Brooklawn, NJ, the Rodeway Inn offers a very budget-conscious accommodation option, located conveniently near stores and accessible for travel between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Its key strengths include a flexible pet policy and potentially discounted rates through booking platforms. However, prospective guests must be fully aware of and prepared for significant concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and the basic nature of its amenities, as vividly described by customer reviews. This hotel appears to cater to a specific segment of travelers for whom a very low price point and pet accommodation outweigh concerns about room condition and the absence of many standard hotel conveniences. Guests should set their expectations accordingly and consider preparing for the noted "cons" before booking.

Pros: The 1st time I booked using Super, got discounted rates for 1 King bed + dog ($55-$87 nightly). They worked with me on the pet fee. Charged just $23 one time though its posted in the office its $20 DAILY. It’s close to all the stores. Walkable. Cons: You might not have a TV remote until you specifically ask. The vending machines are cash/coins only except the soda machine which breaks often. Laundry is coin only. Covers are sheet thin but, ac/heat is powerful in these rooms! I don’t know why but… Overall , 5 stars because the second time I booked I was prepared for the cons. ***Have extra cash available if staying long enough to do laundry!***

Easily the filthiest, smoke filled, unkempt establishment I've ever stayed at. The more you looked, the more you found. They should probably be condemned or should sell the business. The price ain't worth it. Spend a few more dollars and stay at a place you can actually relax and/or do some business work in. Every surface was gross. Every wash cloth and towel was cruddy. Good thing I had my own.

Ok where do I begin. I could have stayed at a Hilton hotel at $95 a night. The pillows had snot and other stuff that was left behind by others. The walls and doors had dirty hand prints all over the place. The bathroom was a dirty disaster ceiling fan hanging down Towle rack falling of the wall the towels were. only big enough to dry my hair. The pictures on the website are not what we experienced. Very deceiving and the elevator was a dirty nasty mess with who knows what is on the walls and floor. This place needs a serious cleaning and painting.

Horrible. All the reviews claiming it's anything more must be fake. Worst motel I've ever been to, and deserves to be less than two stars and it's fake reviews propping it up. Believe the pictures that people have posted. Everything in room is broken. There's tape and shoe laces holding stuff up. They give you two small sheets in an already small bed. Pillows are sheets as well. They don't give you towels. Walls are paper thin. Can hear the busy highway all night, and it sounds like someone is pressure washing all night. All through out the night a lady with a high pitched voice was going up to different rooms and throwing people out by screaming and cursing at them- not sure what's going on there. Avoid this place at all costs.
