For local users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Myerstown, PA area, the Rodeway Inn & Suites Myerstown - Lebanon, located at 411 N College St, Myerstown, PA 17067, USA, presents itself as a budget-friendly option. You can contact them at (717) 866-6536 or +1 717-866-6536. As a part of the Rodeway Inn brand, it typically offers a straightforward, no-frills approach to accommodation, aiming to provide a solid deal for a simple stay. However, like any property, guest experiences can vary, and it's essential to consider a range of perspectives to make an informed decision.
The Rodeway Inn & Suites Myerstown - Lebanon is conveniently situated off U.S. Highway 422 and Interstate 81, making it easily accessible for travelers. This strategic location offers a practical base for exploring not only Myerstown but also the broader Lebanon Valley region and beyond. It is noted as being connected to a convention center, suggesting its capacity to host events and accommodate larger groups. The property is also within reasonable driving distance to a variety of local attractions, including Hersheypark, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, and various Amish Country tours and outlets like Rockvale Outlets Lancaster. This accessibility makes it a suitable choice for those visiting the area for leisure or business. The external environment includes a garden area, offering a space for relaxation.
The hotel offers a range of services and amenities designed to cater to basic travel needs. A notable feature is the complimentary breakfast buffet, which is typically served daily. While reviews suggest the quality of breakfast can be inconsistent, it nonetheless provides a convenient start to the day. The property also features an on-site restaurant and a bar/lounge, offering dining and refreshment options without needing to leave the premises. Room service is also available.
Connectivity is addressed with free in-room WiFi, allowing guests to stay connected for work or personal use. For business travelers or those hosting events, the hotel offers meeting rooms and a conference center with significant banquet space, capable of accommodating large groups. Other practical amenities include laundry facilities, free self-parking, and RV/bus/truck parking, which are beneficial for a variety of guests. The front desk is generally staffed during limited hours, so it's advisable to check specific times for late check-ins. Children aged 18 and younger can often stay free when occupying a parent or guardian's room using existing bedding, which can be an advantage for families.
Pet-friendly policies are also noted, allowing guests to travel with their furry companions, although charges may apply, so confirming this directly with the hotel is recommended.
The guestrooms at Rodeway Inn & Suites Myerstown - Lebanon aim to provide a comfortable stay. They are typically equipped with air conditioning, TVs with cable channels, and free WiFi. Other conveniences found in rooms include coffee/tea makers, desks, and phones with free local calls. Some rooms may also offer on-request microwaves and refrigerators, which can be particularly useful for longer stays or for families. The bathrooms generally feature separate bathtubs and showers, along with hair dryers.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced view based on customer feedback. While some reviews praise the rooms as "spacious and clean" with "comfortable beds and clean sheets" and "no odors," other recent guest experiences tell a different story. Concerns have been raised about cleanliness and maintenance, with mentions of "roaches in room," "mildew smell and water damage on the ceiling," "dirty" floors, "rust marks" in showers, and "pee on the rim of the toilet bowl and a poop smear on the back of the seat." There have also been reports of "large blood stain on one of the pillows" and "bed bugs." This discrepancy suggests that while some rooms might be well-maintained, consistency across all accommodations may be an issue. Guests have also noted that the property is undergoing renovations, which could explain some of the varying conditions. Some rooms have been described as "in need of renovation" with "wallpaper peeling, carpet beyond filthy, bathrooms need a major update."
Rooms are offered with various bed configurations, including King and Queen beds, and some rooms have sofa beds. The hotel has a total of 80 rooms, including 10 suites, spread across two floors, with accessible rooms available for guests requiring them. All rooms are noted to have interior hallways, which can contribute to a sense of security. The hotel is also committed to "Commitment to Clean" practices, a protocol from Choice Hotels, although customer experiences indicate varying levels of success in implementation.
The Rodeway Inn & Suites brand generally positions itself as a value-oriented option, offering a basic yet functional stay at an affordable price. For local users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with budget in mind, this hotel might initially seem attractive due to its competitive rates and included amenities like free breakfast and WiFi. The availability of meeting facilities also makes it a potential choice for local events or business gatherings.
However, the promotional information must be tempered with the reality of guest feedback. While the hotel aims to provide "warm hospitality" and some guests highlight "friendly and accommodating front desk staff," the negative experiences regarding cleanliness and maintenance, particularly the severe issues reported by some guests, significantly impact its overall perceived value. The comment "Just spend a bit more and go elsewhere" from a disappointed guest, along with reports of an event group not wanting to return, indicate that while the price might be lower, the quality of the experience for some may not justify the savings. The property is currently undergoing renovations, which suggests an effort to improve conditions, but potential guests should consider recent reviews and, if possible, verify the condition of their specific room. For those who prioritize cleanliness and consistent quality above all else, especially after reading about significant issues, it would be prudent to inquire directly about the status of renovations and recent room conditions, or consider alternatives in the area.

May 14, 2025 · Amy KohrRoaches in room 74 found on items after a 2 night stay, told front desk, they didn't care. Just spend a bit more and go elsewhere Edit And to clarify how they could have handled it Refund and assurance that this won't happen in the future. We had the place nearly sold out for our event and the quality of the place is unacceptable. No one in our event group wants to return to this location
Mar 24, 2025 · Marcus MorenoMy girlfriend was the one who made a review Alyssa Sutter hotel was under my name and yes it was true we have videos of the roach and the front desk was notified at 7am. This place is truly a waste of money couldn't even shower cause the water wouldn't turn on when told about both of the problems nothing was done other than saying the room will be sprayed. No shower and bugs such a waste of money and poor response from staff not even an apology.
Jan 04, 2025 · Daniel KileyThe sheets were dirty Was able to get clean ones ..The house keeper couldn't understand me because he not understand English..finally commuted what I wanted then he understood
May 19, 2025 · Jenee BiggsMy husband goes there once a week, and almost every time he comes home, he is bitten up by bedbugs, and that is because he did not spray the room he stays in. He should not have to do that just to rest for a few hours from working all day. It is frustrating me to see him coming home looking like this. He is spending money on bug spray for a hotel room. I feel that the bedbugs need to be taken care of by the hotel and not my husband. Would you want your spouse to come home to you looking like that. The next time that he is bitten by bedbugs again. I will be there in person.
