Had a great time this past weekend staying here. There is an honest effort being made to remove the smoke smell and I couldn't smell anything dirty or smokey in my room. Was staying there while getting my diving certification about 20 minutes down the road, and they were very kind about me carrying in all my equipment.

Inn at Lebanon - Hershey/Manheim Area Introduce

For individuals searching within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in the Lebanon, Pennsylvania area, particularly those looking for lodging in proximity to Hershey or Manheim, the Inn at Lebanon - Hershey/Manheim Area presents itself as an option. Located at 625 Quentin Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042, USA, this hotel aims to serve a range of travelers. It's important to approach any accommodation choice with a balanced perspective, and this introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the Inn at Lebanon based on available information, including guest feedback.

Environment and Ambiance

The first impressions of the Inn at Lebanon can be varied, as suggested by customer reviews. The exterior of the hotel, and the initial entry experience, involves an automatic sliding door followed by a double door that requires manual pulling to enter. A prominent recurring theme in guest feedback concerning the hotel's environment is the pervasive smell of old cigarette smoke. While one review indicates "an honest effort being made to remove the smoke smell," and that they "couldn't smell anything dirty or smokey in my room," another guest explicitly states that the "smell of old cigarette is seeping through the walls, and you smell it no matter which part of the hotel you're in. Including your room." This suggests that while efforts may be underway, the issue with smoke odor can still significantly impact the guest experience. Additionally, observations regarding cleanliness in common areas and rooms have been mixed. One review mentions "piles of dust and paint splatter on the edges of the carpet" in hallways, and that "dust and debris continues to line the perimeter of the carpet" within rooms. The general ambiance, therefore, appears to be one where ongoing maintenance and updates are needed to enhance the overall guest environment and perception of cleanliness and freshness.

Rooms and Accommodation

The accommodation at the Inn at Lebanon has been described with a wide range of observations. Rooms are generally furnished with basic amenities, but the condition and upkeep of these amenities can vary. Guest feedback indicates that aspects such as the paintwork in rooms may appear "haphazardly splashed any and everywhere," possibly due to multiple layers of paint applied over time. Lampshades have been noted to have stenciling, suggesting some attempts at cosmetic updates. However, more critical reviews point to significant issues within the rooms, particularly in the bathrooms. Descriptions include "mismatched tiles with caulking that is falling apart," "rusty drain and light fixtures," and "broken light cover." There have also been mentions of cleanliness concerns in the bathroom, such as "a random hair on the fresh wash clothes" and "piss on the back of the toilet bowl." The in-room entertainment includes a television, though one guest noted a struggle for "color and clarity." Window coverings consist of "dated curtains" with a rod, but without functional shades. Heating and air conditioning units are present, but their buttons have been described as "worn completely off," requiring familiarity to operate. One particularly concerning detail mentioned in a review was "what appears to be a bullet hole in the window," which, if accurate, points to significant maintenance or safety concerns that could impact guest comfort and security. It is clear that the condition of the rooms is a major point of contention in customer experiences.

Services and Guest Experience

The services at the Inn at Lebanon are typically geared towards providing a basic lodging experience. The front desk operation is available for guest inquiries and check-ins/check-outs. One review described the front desk as "alright, but nothing to write home about," indicating a functional but perhaps not exceptionally standout level of service. The hotel's staff has been noted to be "very kind" in certain instances, such as accommodating a guest carrying in diving equipment, suggesting a willingness to be helpful with specific guest needs. However, the overall impression of maintenance and care, as reflected in the condition of the physical property, impacts the perceived quality of service. For example, the elevator has been described as looking "untouched by maintenance since the day it was installed." This lack of visible upkeep across various areas of the hotel can detract from the overall guest experience, regardless of individual staff interactions. The hotel's phone numbers are (717) 273-6771 and +1 717-273-6771 for direct communication.

Features and Amenities

Information on specific features and amenities for the Inn at Lebanon is not extensively detailed in the provided reviews, but based on the general expectations of hotels in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category and customer feedback, we can infer some aspects. The hotel likely offers standard amenities such as parking for guests. The location itself serves as a key feature, particularly for those assigned for work in the area or needing access to specific nearby points of interest like diving certification locations, as mentioned by a guest. The hotel's pet-friendly policy, implied by a guest traveling with equipment, could be a significant feature for those traveling with animals, although any associated fees or specific policies would need to be confirmed directly with the hotel. While the provided information does not mention a pool, fitness center, or complimentary breakfast, these are amenities often sought by travelers. The absence of details about such offerings in the reviews suggests they may not be prominent features or are not consistently highlighted by guests. The critical feedback on the room's condition, including issues with the TV and climate control units, suggests that even basic amenities may not always be in optimal working order.

Promotional Information and Location Benefits

As a hotel in the "Hershey/Manheim Area," the Inn at Lebanon's primary promotional point is its geographical location. For travelers seeking accommodation specifically in Lebanon, or those needing a base for activities in nearby Hershey or Manheim, the address at 625 Quentin Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042, USA, provides a central point of access. The hotel's proximity to work assignments or specific activities, such as diving certification, is a benefit for some guests. However, it is crucial for prospective guests to manage their expectations regarding the hotel's appearance and condition, especially when relying on online images. One review explicitly states, "the pictures posted online are nowhere near what you get in person," which is a significant piece of promotional caution. While the hotel offers a place to stay, the objective assessment indicates that its primary value proposition might be its location for those with specific needs in the immediate vicinity, rather than a superior standard of comfort or modern amenities. Therefore, for those exploring "Hotels Near Of Me," a clear understanding of what the Inn at Lebanon offers, as well as its current condition, is essential for making an informed decision.

Yeah, no. The only thing going for it is the location to where I'm assigned for work. The first curiosity is the first entry is an automatic sliding door. Then you have to pull open a double door to actually enter. The smell of old cigarette is seaping through the walls, and you smell it no matter which part of the hotel you're in. Including your room. The front desk was alright, but nothing to write home about. You then step into the elevator that looks like it was untouched by maintenance since the day it was installed. Out onto your floor and again. Piles of dust and paint splatter on the edges of the carpet. I suspect it's from the 30 layers of paint they paid a local "contractor" to cover the old, cigarette washed paint from years past. You now enter your room where dust and debris continues to line the perimeter of the carpet and paint is haphazardly splashed any and everywhere. Lampshade has been updated with a local "artist's" stenciling. Lol the bathroom is sketchy as hell. Piss on the back of the toilet bowl, a random hair on the fresh wash clothes, mismatched tiles with caulking that is falling apart. Rusty drain and light fixtures. Broken light cover and shi##y paint continues. Then there's the TV that has pushed along with all it's might to try and give you some color and clarity. Though your window has a rod to pull shades, Alas! You have no shades. Just dated curtains. The heater and A/C unit has buttons worn completely off. Thankfully a bit of intelligence helps me determine which button is which. Then, the most sketchy part is what appears to be a bullet hole in the window. I legitimately write reviews on a rare occasion. Either when I'm truly impressed or when a location needs to be recognized for what it isn't. I assure you. This place ISN'T it. I would never return here and will fight to have my fee prorated for the 3 nights I refuse to stay. I think my biggest disappointment is that the pictures posted online are nowhere near what you get in person. There's definitely something to be said about getting what you paid for.

I was just here this weekend for a sports event. This place was booked through a group based on the pictures and assurance of the staff that it was clean renovated and safe. LIES!!! This place was terrible i wouldnt stay here if it was the last place on earth. staying outside was safer and cleaner. Rooms smelled terrible like old smoke and dirt. walls had peeling paint curtains filthy and torn up, bathrooms horrible i think port-a potty's are cleaner. I alone would never stay in a place like this let alone put my children to bed on those nasty beds. This place should not be allowed to stay open until all renovations and safety standards are met. I never leave reviews but i'm blown away that someone would actually try to allow other human beings to stay in such poor conditions and charge money to do so. I would be embarrassed as the owner to have anyone walk into this hotel and pay to stay here and then argue when we have to cancel (for our safety ) that they will charge us a cancellation fee.

1st night we got there we noticed the dirty room. The bathroom was the worst of it with the peeling paint on the walls, and nasty bathtub. (Bring shower shoes) the beds were super uncomfortable, and the tv didn't work very well. I got hit in the face with their ripped up "under new management" sign swaying in the wind. And the breakfast was a sad excuse. With a toaster, and individual cereals. Not to mention I'm not 100% what sort of establishment it is but im quite sure I saw a call girl roaming the lobby. Second night was no better. If I hadn't already booked 2 nights, I wouldn't have stayed again. Besides that, it seemed in poor condition, and for a not smoking establishment, the entire 4th floor smelled like dirt weed, not even good stuff. If I could give negative stars I would. Never had to stay somewhere that I felt I had to lock every lock on the door, and sleep with my gun on the other pillow. Avoid this place

I didn't expect much for the price, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. You get what you pay for, and overall it was worth it. The room had a slight cigarette smell, but nothing too bad. The service at check-in, was next level - super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for a budget stay!
