We have stayed twice at this hotel about a year apart and it was great both times! For the price, the breakfast is great and offers a nice variety that changes day to day. Both times we stayed 3 nights and all 3 mornings the breakfast was satisfying. The staff does a good job replenishing the items and does not skip a beat if you ask for something to be replenished. They only put a small amount out at a time which is good because then the stuff doesn’t get cold or dried out. I have never seen original AND blueberry waffles, but they had it! The pool area was well maintained and the hot tub was hot! Always clean towels available. Only thing is that the exhaust fan is a little loud to have a conversation in there but that is just being nitpicky. The rooms were VERY clean! The housekeeping does a great job. The rooms are a little on the small side which is not the fault of the hotel at all, but is ample. My only complaint about the room is that the shower has almost nowhere to put any shampoo bottles, or hang any wash cloths/loofas etc. it would be ok for one person but if you are staying with more than one other person I would bring some suction cup hangers or even a shower caddie for the bathroom. The whole complex was well maintained in my opinion, and they had a nice outdoor seating area “designated smoking area” with 4 Adirondack chairs. I didn’t see anyone smoking there but I did see people reading which was nice! Special shoutout to Victoria. She is possibly the hardest working hotel employee I have ever seen. Whatever she’s being paid, it’s not enough! Don’t lose her! The room even had a cute little coffee display and soap/shampoo display. The Keurig pods is a huge upgrade over the crappy coffee pouches most hotels give. Not to mention they always have dress coffee available in the lobby. But if you wanted a couple cups before going downstairs it is available. The ATV trails are accessible through routes right from the hotel, but we opted to trailer it to the surrounding towns. There is plenty of parking in the lot even on a busy holiday weekend. This place is a hidden gem, seriously. Don’t sleep on this place! (Pun intended)

May 28, 2025 · Colin HaagensenPrice is great. Employees are nice. Breakfast is delicious. Unfortunately, the facility is a bit run down and doesn’t really measure up to other Sleep Inn properties where I’ve stayed. My room (117) had a major humidity problem and nothing (not even bath towels) would dry for 4 days. My door wouldn’t open/close without significant force (probably related to the humidity problem). When I brought up these problems, the staff told me maintenance hadn’t shown up to work for a week. Overall, a better stay than the Super 8 Antigo, but much worse than the Holiday Inn Express across the street.
Jul 05, 2025 · Jon GunterThe customer service was terrible!! We booked two rooms and called the day before to make sure they were adjourned rooms we were told yes. We also called the day we were staying just to make sure they were. We'll when we got here, they were NOT. The person at the front desk was extremely rude!! The breakfast area is overflowing with trash and always empty or low on everything! Only stay here is all you need is a bed to sleep in. The beds were at least good.
Feb 23, 2025 · andrew boldonAffordable and very wonderful hotel. The rooms were pristine and the mattresses were new. Breakfast options were very good as well, I stayed there a couple days and the menu was different every day. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing and not usually busy which was nice for a private dip in the hot tub. I will absolutely stay here again next time I'm in Antigo.
Dec 12, 2024 · Ryan HVery nice hotel! Nice staff, clean rooms, nice pool and hot tub! Definitely would recommend! I go here every time I see family in antigo!
