The beds were very comfortable, The suite we had was very spacious and comfortable and accommodated all of our needs. The pool was open when we arrived. We rested for a bit and when we went down a few hours later it was closed up due to something going wrong with the pool and the hot tub was not available. We would like to stay here again in a week and a half when we take my son to the zoo and hopefully the pool and hottub issue will be fixed.

One the surface this looks like a really good deal and a really nice place. The lobby is nice when you enter, that staff was all incredible. The fitness room was nice. The room was just ok. The bed was uncomfortable and didn't provide for a good night sleep. There was paint on the carpet. The pool was nice for a swim. Though you had to go ask for towels. Certainly the pool area needed some work. Large patches in the wall and the hot tub was boarded over. My biggest complaint is a car parked near the entrance that we never seen move, a couple times had someone sitting in it and you could smell pot emanating from the car. A couple other times we could smell it in the elevator. Overall I have to compliment the staff as they all did their jobs better than most places I have been so if nothing else they have done a great job hiring staff.

Normally, I love these rooms! The rooms are like studios and are usually very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is usually extremely accommodating and friendly- this trip was very different. The room did not look like the photos and was run down, it was dirty already covered in hair, I found a few personal belongings from other individuals in the cracks, the staff was nowhere to be found during check in and throughout my weekend stay, the mini store they have in the lobby was barely stocked with limited options the entire time, the breakfast they served was scarce, the location looked sketchy at first but it was okay once I settled in, the roll in shower (as expected) got the entire bathroom wet which was a slipping hazard, the restaurant connected opens 5p-9p and is closed even during those hours, the hot tub was closed for renovations… This location of Sonesta really let me down. The exception was the pool & the night maintenance man, he was an absolute doll and really respected all the guests and their requests.

The hotel was very easy to get to and conveniently located by the highway interchange. The lobby was very clean and very friendly staff. The only thing wrong with this hotel would be our room. It was large and comfy but the shower did not work properly and we only had one towel, which there seemed to be a shortage of. The price of the room was excellent. There was no continental breakfast but a grab and go style, cereal, milk yogurt, muffins, ect. This hotel also allows pers which is a plus.I would and will be considering this hotel in my future visit to Milwaukee.

They forgot to return an ID used for check-in so it was left behind at the front desk. Had to call in to ask for it when we realized it was never given back 2 days later, already on the way to the airport. There were many occasions where this could have been returned, including at check-out. Unacceptable from a hotel, this shouldn’t have fallen through the cracks considering it is the responsibility of the hotel to return the ID during the check-in process. Had to have our daughter go pick up the ID to have it mailed to us, who experienced poor customer service from the receptionist working at 8AM on 5/17, who was not apologetic at all and said it was not her problem. Will not be staying here again or recommending it to our out of state guests again, which is unfortunate because everything else about the hotel was fine and acceptable.
