Studio 6 Duluth, GA - Atlanta - Gwinnett Place

I made the mistake of booking a room here thinking I could save a buck. NEVER AGAIN. We walked into the room and only lasted 2 minutes before walking back out. The room stunk like cigarettes even though it was a smoke-free room. There was mold in the air. The cabinets were literally falling off the hinges. It was gross. Plus there were so many unsavory characters hanging around the parking lot and inside the stairwells. We didn't feel safe even though we were carrying. I would never book a room with Motel 6. First and Last time.

Don't stay here. General manager is extremely rude, aggressive, and racist. Her name is Namisha Patel and she acts like she's the owner. I've been staying here for weeks off and on with absolutely no problem. Today right after paying for my room in full she called, kicked me out and kept my money. She said my money is hers now. She claimed I didn't pay a random $2 service fee... from YESTERDAY when I checked in....I tried to tell her I didn't know, no one told me but She wouldn't let me speak, it was nothing but yelling and talking over me. I had no problem paying but she wouldn't let me. She immediately threatened to call the police. Over $2! I left and called corporate, they put me on hold to talk to her but she yelled and hung up on them too! Crazy! The representative immediately understood and filed a formal complaint. She's currently under investigation and they're gonna make sure I get my money back. Apparently she's known for this and had multiple complaints. How can someone who treats people so inhumanely be in any position of power? I don't know if this is a corporate location or franchise but either way she is NOT a person who should be hired to represent a company in anyway. I've never been talked to the way she talked to me, not to mention stealing my money. I can't stress this enough .. DON'T STAY HERE.

Great central location. The rooms are not super luxurious, but they do get the job done. You do get a fridge and stove, and above all, it is a great value - and that may be a consideration for many.

I made a reservation yesterday morning with a gentle on shift who was very nice. I explained that I was traveling from another state and that I would have been in town that night he helped me with discounted rate. When I got up Alanta yesterday night and called the hotel there was a lady there who answered the phone Indian accent very rude very nasty. She told me that she canceled my reservation for no reason at all I told her I am not from the state I’m traveling from out of town she said she did not care. I told her that I would report her to Corperate she said she didn’t care she didn’t want me at her hotel she would call the police ?? I called reservation line to report her they gave me the number to call they called the front desk and explained to her that she couldn’t not just cancel my reservation like they she kept referring to the business as if it was hers very racist lady that’s the only reason I could see she would do such a thing because I don’t personally know her please beware of his woman she is terrible she will leave you stranded with you children out of town. I ended up being inconvienced in the middle of the night had to stay at one of the sister locations 8 minutes later and Was tormented by the roaches in that hotel the whole night mean while I was in town for a church program. But how ever God is still able!!! But please beware of this woman and her discrimination. For no apparent reason and the calls where recorded in case management needs to verify what I’m Saying the woman really needs to be fired or at least taken off he schedule and under extensive training on customer service and discrimination and not to return until she knows how to proper deal with customers from all ethinicities!!! She also refused to give me her name but I called this property around 9 ish yesterday night so whoever was one the front desk she is a real problem beware!!!!
