I booked this last minute and was not thrilled with this place. Upon entering the room I noticed a strong fragrant smell more than likely trying to cover up some other smell. The room looked OK upon first glance but it was deceiving. There were dead bugs in the sheets. These were NOT bed bugs. The bed was uncomfortable and hard. The toilet wasn't securely attached to the ground. The backup roll of toilet paper looked like it was dropped in the mud. The bath tub was sticky. The water pressure in the sink was horrible. This place beat sleeping outside but I will not stay there again.

We don't stay in hotels often, but when we do we like consistency. Sure stay has given us exactly that. We have stayed on a couple of occasions now. An I have to say they are very accommodating, owner is very respectful, friendly, and gives you the best rates he can. Our room is always nicely clean, NO bugs, an very comfortable beds! Give it a chance guy's it's definitely worth it. We will never stay at Kings Inn or the Inn of Lenoir ever again the bugs there could carry you out the door!!

My RV broke down and I needed a place close to the repair shop. The room was not to my standards. I got a 'non-smoking' room, but it smelled like a mix of an old ash tray and mold. The mold smell was worse by the fridge and sink. It was also not clean, didn't look like it had been wiped down in some time. See picture. The girl at the front desk was nice however the man tried numerous times to get me to allow housekeeping in the room while I was there for 3 days like he wanted to look through my things. It was strange.

This hotel is the absolute BEST bang for your buck!! Ken (owner) goes above and beyond for his guests. The rooms are always clean and stocked with quality toiletries. The beds have extremely comfortable mattresses and comforters. Heat/Air work well, water is hot, nice size TV, plenty of towels, cold fridge & freezer, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, iron with ironing board as well as hangers for your clothes…basically all necessities. Ken is always extremely nice and helpful. Even moved his car so we could park our RV in his spot during one of our stays. The breakfast is top tier! They serve a wonderful breakfast every morning with so many choices and options, there’s no way you will leave hungry! If I could give 10 stars, I definitely would! With all the amenities, clean/stocked rooms and helpful staff, it’s worth the 5⭐️!!!!

This place and owners don’t deserve stars!!- NONE!! Disgusting!!!…..it was gross!!- I have never been in such a nasty place!- starting in the parking lot!!- got out of my car to see a pile of dried vomit on the ground!!- trash blowing around- no customers…owners car and all his family members live there. It was not fit for dogs!! This place was picked because it was dog friendly- we put a homeless couple and their two dogs up for a week …if there would have been another option?- we would have moved them. It wasn’t fit for the dogs!!- it smelled to high heaven!- smelled like there was a Indian food restaurant in the building, we could not understand the owners?- they did not speak English well and had to have a young girl translate!!! The wed site for this hotel is a lie!!- we were told that it was Best Westerns policy that a maid had to come inside the room everyday- even if you posted a “privacy please” sign on the door. I called Best Western and asked if this was policy?…I was told “no”….they lied. They also told us that they were only going to charge me 10$ per dog?- they charged me 20$…the owner said that he would not charge my card until check out?- he lied. He charged me while he was telling he would not. I wanted a receipt to verify the cost of the room?…online the room that he said was available was a 2 queen, smoking, upper level- 67$ a night- they charged me 90$ for a room I wouldn’t let the dogs stay in by themselves!!!- the couple had sheets and blankets that they used …the only reason why we didn’t move them somewhere else was because of the location and pet friendly- this place wasn’t even PEOPLE FRIENDLY!!- GROSS!! 🔺DO NOT STAY HERE!🔺… UNCLEAN & A HUGE RIP OFF!!- poor dogs.
