I can’t comment on the rooms or location as of yet, however I can attest to the reservation staff (don’t recall her name). She called me a week ahead of our reservation to confirm our booking information. Unfortunately that day our family beagle (which we had reserved a pet room for) was at the emergency vet. She was immediately sympathetic and offered her prayers for our furry family member. Unfortunately we will not be able to fulfill our current reservation as we are going to spend those days saying goodbye, however, I guarantee we will re-book as soon as we are able. If the rest of the staff are as caring and compassionate about their guests, it will surely be a five star stay!

I love this town and hotel. It has been years since I've stopped and stayed the night. I’ve learned that the hotel has changed ownership twice since my last visit, and the previous owner was apparently running it into the ground. The good news is that the new owner seems to genuinely care about the history and the community, and my stay was very nice. I hope to see this place thriving on my next stop. Thanks again for a warm and welcoming stay.

Could be in my opinion, the attraction of Downtown Abbeyville. The new owners are wonderful and accommodating, the history is palpable, and its just a wonderful place to experience. It's like a step back in time, and while the rooms aren't the Hampton Inn they have clean bathrooms, sheets and wonderfully comfortable beds. :) I really hope business picks up, this place deserves it! So glad we took a chance and decided to stay!

This is an old hotel the parking was a bit difficult to navigate but not terrible. Everything was clean in the room and if you are into history this is definitely the location for that! They have vintage luggage and items around and even how they check in has that vibe. The restaurant was quiet and a bit dark but the chicken wings were large and in charge! Great prices room and extremely quiet. There was no ac that I saw in the room but it was comfortable enough since I was just staying one night.

I stayed the end of January 2025. The location in Abbeville is ideal to be able to walk the whole town. The rooms are quaintly furnished with antique furniture. Most have great views of town. The Italian food and then the breakfast at the Inn was DELICIOUS! The drinks from the bar were as well. The people there are what makes the place. Blake made us feel special. Suzanne and the rest of the staff did as well.
