We purchased a deal through Groupon giving us meal credits and a massage special. This is a wonderful place to stay (especially on the off season!) There seemed to be hardly any other guests which was perfect for my husband and I. We are quite introverted and we felt so comfortable here. I’ve never stayed at a ski lodge before and this was quite the experience to see all the things offered at a lodge. The little arcade was clearly geared more for younger children but it was wonderful to see that this was available. The hot tub was awesome, although I do wish there was a co-ed one inside as well as outside. There are whirlpool tubs in each of the men’s room and women’s room which is nice but I was on my honeymoon so wanted to soak with my husband. Luckily it was nice enough outside that we were able to soak. The pool and hot tub were very clean and I saw staff checking the water periodically. The food was a little pricey but tasty (I expected the higher prices). The public areas of the lodge are beautiful with plenty of comfortable places to sit and relax. Some areas even have bookshelves with books that if you were inclined to relax and read a book you would feel quite comfortable doing so. In the lobby area they even had a large table with a puzzle on it for guests to work on. On the floor we were staying there were 2 tables (1 on each end of the hall) that had a game table where you could play chess/checkers/cribbage. The rooms are a bit small but still comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and our room had a jetted tub which worked well. It is a smaller tub but was still nice! The rooms are uniquely adjoined (at least unique to anything I’ve seen). Each of the rooms were grouped in pairs. The room key opens a door into an entry way that has 2 doors. This allows you to have adjoining rooms without a door directly from one room into the other (this always makes me nervous). Cons: No mini fridge in the room.

If you're in search of a massage that will absolutely ruin you (in the best way possible), look no further than Josiah at the Mountain Club on Loon. I walked in asking for a rough massage—literally to murder my neck—and let me tell you, this man understood the assignment. By the time I left, I wasn’t sure if I should float down the hall or send him a fruit basket in gratitude. First, let's talk atmosphere. The music? Perfectly curated. The bed? Toasty warm. And the face hole—oh, the face hole. If you've ever endured one of those awkward, ill-fitted massage beds that make you question your life choices, rest assured: this was a Grade A face hole. Comfort was king. Then came the feet. And friends, let me tell you—Josiah sets a new standard here. He actually washed his hands after working on my feet before moving on to the rest of my body. Not only was this a thoughtful touch, but starting with the feet truly set the tone for the entire experience: intentional, attentive, and just... next level. What truly sets Josiah apart, though, is his ability to listen and deliver. I’ve been to plenty of therapists who nod along to your requests and then proceed with their default routine. Not Josiah. I pointed out my trouble spots, and he hunted down every knot, nook, and cranny like a treasure map. His precision, care, and sheer skill left no muscle unturned. As someone who frequently battles migraines, I was especially blown away by his neck and scalp work. Whatever sorcery he performed on those pressure points had me feeling like I was floating by the end. And now? I’m utterly useless for the day—but in the best, most blissful way possible. If you're visiting Loon, make time to see Josiah. Whether you want to be pampered or, like me, absolutely obliterated (in a classy way, of course), this man delivers. Bravo, Josiah. You've set the bar ridiculously high!

Had a traditional massage with Kimberly Ward today. Excellent experience. Best massage I've ever had, I can tell Kimberly knows her stuff and is experienced.

The people make this what it is. Amazing friendly service for both food and room needs. Ski in/out right on a great mountain. My only complaint is the comfort of the beds.
