I was in town for a baking course at King Arthur. This inn was the perfect location for my home base during the week. The room was fabulous with a gas fireplace that I took advantage of most nights. Being from Texas it was nice to take a bit of the spring chill off my bones. I enjoyed the bar a couples of nights and took advantage of the breakfast a couple of mornings as well. The staff is very accommodating for the folks taking classes, they're willing to store the output from the class in their fridges/freezers. The staff was quite helpful in getting me oriented about the town and pointing out restaurants that were open when the inn's wasn't.

Mar 29, 2025 · Scott ZrubekA quaint inn that's perfectly colonial. Clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're planning on taking a class at the King Arthur Baking school, which is less than a 5 minute drive, it's the perfect place to stay.
Mar 28, 2025 · Pete MOur company had the pleasure of hosting our Christmas party this past weekend at the Norwich Inn. Linda and the team was exceptionally attentive to our needs both in the initial planning stages and during the event. The reserved spaces were gorgeous, providing ample room for our large group to socialize before our meal. The food was exceptional; beautifully prepared and presented, as well as the inn's signature cocktails and mocktails. Following dinner, we held a gift exchange in the living room; the fireplace and the Christmas tree created the perfect cozy setting. We had a truly wonderful time celebrating a great business year, and the Norwich Inn was a fabulous host.
Jan 06, 2025 · Lindsay PellegrinoThis is a comfortable place to stay. It is an older building with its creeky floors, old doors, bathrooms, and old style beds, but it's clean and comfortable with a ton of charm. The main floor has some picturesk rooms with comfortable areas for sitting, a nice restaurant and bar area as well. It is somewhat close to many popular areas, like Harvard and King Arthur Flour Co. It is not set up to be handicapped accessable due to the age of the building and does not lend itself easily to any type modification of the wanted to. It is worth a visit as long as you take it in as an experience and enjoy is foibles for what they are. If you found this review helpful, please tap the thumbs up to let me know. Thanks!
Dec 24, 2024 · pmwshould be a 4.5, hotel is great, old, good staff, clean, awesome location, next to a country store where you can buy everything AND the kitchen sink, including the exceptional Heady Topper beer that hotel staff gladly stored cold for me (no fridges in rooms), but I recommend skipping the very basic $15 pp continental breakfast that is not included (most other hotels include these days for these rates) to go to Hanover options or King Arthur bakery (short drive away) for better food and similar prices. I would come back and stay, but $15 for breakfast is out of whack.
