My second visit to the hotel was a major disappointment. So I adjusted my ratings. First, the service staff was deficient, borderline rude, and dismissive. Very unhappyat check in. Also, I mentioned the breakfast was decent the first time. It was virtually nonexistent, the second time, with stale bread and English muffins. Very disappointing not sure if I’ll be back. Great value for the price. It looks like the hotel was recently remodeled there’s unfinished feel to the rooms. It’s clean the manager on duty was friendly. It was quiet. Good water pressure. Decent morning breakfast. No fault of their own but it is really difficult to get there safely with the location on a snowy winter night. GPS sends you to the wrong place across the street. Not their fault but something to be aware of. Also, unlike most of those hotels in the area they don’t have satellite dish, they have Comcast. Which means I was able to get my NFL network on NFL honors night so I was happy.
For those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the picturesque Upper Valley region, the Quality Inn in Lebanon, New Hampshire, stands as an established option. Located at 135 NH-120, Lebanon, NH 03766, USA, with direct phone contact at (603) 697-5101 or +1 603-697-5101, this hotel aims to provide a practical and accessible stay for a variety of travelers. This detailed introduction will objectively explore the hotel's environment, services, features, and relevant promotional insights, drawing upon available information, including direct customer feedback.
The environment surrounding the Quality Inn in Lebanon is characteristic of New Hampshire's Upper Valley, offering a blend of commercial convenience and access to natural beauty. While situated on NH-120, a state highway, it places guests strategically close to major transportation arteries, including Interstate 89, which provides direct routes to destinations across New Hampshire and Vermont. This roadside location, as noted by some guests, can sometimes present challenges in snowy conditions, requiring awareness of GPS directions, which may occasionally lead to the wrong side of the street. However, its proximity to essential local institutions is a significant advantage. The hotel is notably close to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, a major regional hospital (approximately 6 minutes drive or 3.9 km), making it a convenient choice for visitors or patients. Dartmouth College in Hanover is also just a short drive away (around 7 minutes drive or 6.4 km), appealing to those visiting the university campus. Beyond these institutional hubs, the Lebanon area offers access to the charming downtowns of both Lebanon and White River Junction, Vermont, each with its unique character, local businesses, and dining options. The natural landscape of the Upper Valley, with its rolling hills, forests, and rivers, provides opportunities for outdoor recreation, such as hiking, biking, and exploring areas like the nearby Mink Brook Nature Preserve or Mascoma Lake. The overall environment is one of functional accessibility balanced with the rustic charm of New England.
In terms of services, the Quality Inn generally offers a range of amenities expected from a mid-range hotel. A consistent highlight for many guests is the complimentary breakfast, which is provided daily, though its quality can vary, as indicated by guest reviews ranging from "decent" to "virtually nonexistent, with stale bread and English muffins." This suggests that while the service is offered, the specific experience may fluctuate. The hotel provides free WiFi, an essential service for modern travelers, ensuring connectivity in guest rooms and potentially in common areas. Complimentary self-parking is also a valuable service, especially given its location, accommodating various vehicle types, including RVs, buses, and trucks. The presence of a 24-hour front desk is standard, offering round-the-clock assistance for check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries, although service quality at check-in has been described as "deficient, borderline rude, and dismissive" by some guests, contrasting with other feedback highlighting friendly management. A gym or fitness center is available, allowing guests to maintain their exercise routines. Housekeeping services are typically provided, though the cleanliness of rooms has been a point of significant contention in guest reviews, with some reporting "dirtiest hotel I ever stayed at" with specific issues like dirty showers, hair in drains, footprints, and stains. Other services that may be offered include vending machines and potentially a business center, though these are less consistently highlighted in the provided feedback. The hotel also mentions being 100% smoke-free and LGBTQ+ friendly. Additionally, accessible parking spaces and elevator access are available, indicating a commitment to guest accessibility.
The features of the Quality Inn aim to provide a functional and generally comfortable stay. Guest rooms, often described as having an "unfinished feel" but also noted for being "clean" by some, typically include microwaves and refrigerators, which are highly convenient for storing food and beverages, especially for longer stays. Flat-screen TVs with cable channels, including specific networks like the NFL Network, are also mentioned as a positive feature for entertainment. In-room amenities usually include coffee makers, iron/ironing boards, and private bathrooms with basic toiletries and hairdryers. The mention of "good water pressure" is a small but often appreciated detail for guests. The hotel is structured as a two-story motor inn with outside entrances, providing direct access to rooms. Despite the concerns raised about cleanliness, one crucial feature noted by a guest is the absence of "bed bugs," which can be a significant concern for travelers. The hotel's affordability, often described as "cheap" or "great value for the price," is a key feature, especially for budget-conscious travelers. The availability of Comcast, as opposed to satellite dish, is a specific feature that resonated positively with at least one guest who appreciated access to particular television channels. The hotel also offers connecting or adjoining rooms, subject to availability, which can be a useful feature for families or groups.
As for promotional information, the Quality Inn brand generally focuses on providing good value and essential amenities. For this specific location, common promotional angles would likely include emphasizing its strategic position for visitors to Dartmouth College and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, as well as its convenience for travelers on I-89. The "free breakfast," "free WiFi," and "free parking" are consistent promotional highlights for the Quality Inn chain. Given the mixed reviews, any current promotional efforts might focus on recent upgrades or commitments to improving guest experience, perhaps with specific assurances regarding cleanliness or staff training. For local users searching on "Hotels Near Of Me," the hotel's affordability and inclusion of breakfast, parking, and internet could be strong motivators, particularly for short-term stays or those seeking a budget-friendly option close to key destinations. The hotel is also noted as being pet-friendly with prior approval, which could be a significant draw for travelers with animals. Discounts for groups or specific affiliations might also be part of their promotional strategy. The ability to directly contact the hotel via phone at (603) 697-5101 or +1 603-697-5101 for inquiries or bookings would also be a key piece of information for local users. The hotel's proximity to other attractions like the Lebanon Opera House (4-minute drive), King Arthur Baking Company (11-minute drive), and Quechee Gorge (further drive) could also be highlighted in promotional materials to encourage longer stays and exploration of the wider Upper Valley region.

Mar 25, 2025 · mike woodDirtiest hotel I ever stayed at.The shower was dirty with hair in the drain, footprints, half a bar of soap left in it.I went to rinse it out and the shower did not work what so ever ever.Stains on the lamp shade, encrusted ice around the freezer and ice cube tray in the fridge. There was a note in the night stand drawer,Must have been from a previous guest that said " can you see the dirt in this draw?"Pieces of laminate wood pulled off and covered with masking tape.I can't make this stuff up. Pluses... close to the hospital ,no bed bugs and cheap.

Jan 01, 2025 · frank leeWe stopped last minute as we had car troubles on a road trip. The room was clean, quiet and the staff were extremely helpful. They helped me get a taxi to to repair shop and were flexible with my situation, and extending my stay by a day. A super wonderful place to stay with very friendly people.
