Recent customer reviews provide valuable insights into the actual guest experience. One overwhelmingly positive review praises the "friendly reception desk," the convenience and affordability of the on-site restaurant/bar with "good sized portions," and the "spacious" pool area with "decent" pool and hot tub (though wishing the hot tub were warmer). The lobby fireplace was appreciated for its "romantic, relaxing touch." This indicates a high level of satisfaction with the hotel's core offerings and value.
Another review generally reports a "good stay," noting a fast and organized check-in process and informative staff regarding event schedules. The room was "okay," with minor issues like a low toilet and mirror. However, a significant concern was raised regarding a service interaction: after dropping a breakfast plate, the guest was denied a vacuum and told it was "another department's problem," with the mess remaining uncleared even an hour later at checkout. This points to a potential inconsistency in staff responsiveness and problem resolution, despite the overall positive remarks about initial service. The location was universally praised as "great." The negative points in this review also extended to room comfort, mentioning a "rock solid" mattress and "extremely small & square" pillows, suggesting that while amenities are present, the quality of specific items might vary or not meet all guest preferences.
In conclusion, for local users searching on "Hotels Near Of Me" in the West Lebanon, NH area, the Fireside Inn & Suites West Lebanon presents a strong contender, particularly for its comprehensive amenities. Its strategic location, full hot breakfast, on-site restaurant, and excellent indoor pool/hot tub facilities are frequently praised. While the vast majority of feedback is positive, some specific instances suggest that consistency in problem resolution and the comfort of certain in-room furnishings could be areas for improvement. Mar 31, 2025 · Tiffany SchmidtOverall I had a good stay. I went to the Masquerade Ball and stayed the night with my girlfriend. The check in process was organized and fast. The staff was informative about the evening’s schedule and gave concise directions to the room. The room was okay. I took a star in that category because the toilet and mirror were low. I don’t expect everything to accommodate a 6’5” man but I think it’s reasonable to expect that the mirror is higher than 5’ at the top. I took a star in the service category because when I brought breakfast for two to the room I dropped a plate. I set down the surviving plate and used a towel to clean most of the food off the floor, walls, and door. I didn’t mind vacuuming it myself. I was told no, I couldn’t have a vacuum and it wasn’t the employee’s problem (that’s another department’s problem). In her defense she did tell me she would tell the front desk. However an hour (or longer) later when I check out it still wasn’t cleaned. The location is great.
Mar 10, 2025 · Andrew AllgoodThe Fireside Inn is an incredible hotel. The staff are super friendly, and the level of detail that went into accommodating every guest was above and beyond. I loved how cozy the rooms were, the room was very clean, it had a massage chair and huge TV. The amenities and atmosphere of the public spaces were the most special I’ve ever seen at a hotel. They brought nature inside and a lot of spaces to explore from the open dinning hall surrounded by trees to the pool - I will definitely visit the Fireside Inn again! Thank you to every staff member who made it so lovely.
Feb 11, 2025 · charlotte kohlmannBreakfast buffet was good awful. I bit into a French toast stick moments after they were brought out. It was rock hard. Inedible. I swear they heated up the leftovers from the day before in an air crisper. The food served was done so because they said it came with your room. Not because anyone cared about your dining experience. Stale bread, bagels. Fruit loops were great. Got one cup of coffee never saw the lady with the coffee for a warm up ever again. Location is great. Beds lumpy. Nice lobby.
Mar 02, 2025 · Valerie WaldenThis was by far my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at and the price was reasonable. I loved the interior of the place. The unique and wide open architecture made for a magical stay. Trees and plants filled the common spaces. The turtles and fish in the indoor courtyard dining area all seemed healthy and thriving in clean water with ample room. I’d highly recommend this inn to anybody who appreciates the curation of a space.
