Outstanding hotel stay! This is the best hotel experience I have had since the pandemic and I travel often. The renovations are very nice. Every staff member from checkin to the lobby bar to housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. The beds are truly heavenly. My room was spotless and quiet. If you are staying for a convention, the convention center is 2 blocks away. There are very nice restaurants close by. It is an easy walk to the mall and the monuments. Thank you!

Apr 17, 2025 · Lynn LyonThe rooms were clean. The room service was great. The food was food, and my wife was able to order an omelet that was gluten-free and safe from cross-contamination. The did was a bit expensive but good. And all the staff we encountered were great.
Apr 30, 2025 · Roark PerryA very clean hotel and great service. Very secure- you must use your room key to even access the floors from the elevator. I did NOT like that the room we ended up with didn't have an outside view- but thats a personal preference. The breakfast was actually pretty good, but the prices for it and the bar are significantly higher than the rest of the breakfast and bar areas(like double). It also has a Starbucks inside, but a very limited one. I would stay at this hotel again, but only if the price was right.
Apr 02, 2025 · theoverlanddiscipleI’ve never had a bad stay at a Westin, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. The first room I got had no hot water in the shower (it’s below 20 degrees outside!). Not even lukewarm, it was just cold. On top of this, the towels were dirty—there was a giant strand of black hair on the sink towels. Thankfully the front desk immediately changed my room. Unfortunately though, the new room had dirty, stained blankets, with hair all over the bed when I walked in. Gross. To make it even worse, the room had paper thin walls—we could hear what our next door neighbor was watching, clearly and vividly as if it was in our room. The reason I give it 3 stars despite those conditions is that the staff was truly amazing: accommodating, helpful, and friendly. An added bonus is that the hotel is in a fantastic, central location right in the heart of DC.
Jan 24, 2025 · MoMy experience at this hotel was mixed. Overall I’d only stay here again if I didn’t have a better choice. A more comfortable bed would change my rating. Pros: Central location, lovely staff, nice common areas, gym, clean(ish) rooms, Starbucks on location. My room was quiet too. Cons: - Overpriced restaurant (prices were seriously out of touch with reality and this made me not order room service or eat in). - The bathroom had some black floor stains that need professional cleaning. - Mattress was too soft and the bed creaked all night. - Most rooms don’t have any direct sunlight because of the hotels dome structure. This was depressing. - Thermostat issues. I tried setting it to my preferred temperature many times but the room temp stayed at 75 degrees no matter what. 3/5.
