Umbrella Hotel Bronx

Twice this hotel did not accommodate me whatsoever seriously not returning to this hotel. Unreasonable prices with a $50 fee to get in 20 minutes earlier then check in. Accidentally booked the wrong date and was told to deal with it even after offering to pay the difference. At that the rooms are tiny, gross, and showers don’t work. Will not return and i do encourage you to spend your money at any other hotel. Not worth the stress OR the money.

There's no respect in the rooms. The loud music turns the hotel into a vulgar place full of crazy, unruly people. It's not a place to rest; it's a nightmare. The shower is dripping, the curtains are torn.

This is the crappiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The price is outrageous for how tiny the rooms are! They smell funny ! Sheets not clean , floors are sticky it’s just disgusting honestly do not book a room here seriously you will instantly regret it!

Room had broken shower head and smoke detector. Even saw a roach in the fridge and toilet bowl. Elevator was out, so I had to walk up 6 flights of stairs. The pictures are deceiving. Do not stay here. You will not receive any good customer service or your money back. This place should get shut down.

I stayed here due to a mix up at another local hotel which was at a five star level. This hotel serves people wishing for hourly stays and is not managed well for professional or tourist stays. They have different rate structures for by the hour for day, night … The room was bear bones, phone did not work and had to use my cell phone to call the office to get the WiFi code- which shut off around 9pm. The bathroom shower is not intuitive- supposedly there is a small screw on the base of the tub nozzle to turn to operate the shower- none of this was communicated. The room itself was very worn and sheets were clean but with stains. At night one of the guests got locked out of the room and angrily banged on his door yelling to his friend to open up- not making for a safe setting to leave the room once in until morning. Do not stay here if you have a choice.
