Oh my I spotted this hidden gem while food shopping. I wanted a good reason to book a stay. My new job gave me a discount by being a member of their private club. I am so glad I did . The reception was very cordial and respectful. I would say bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and body lotion. I am glad I packed those! No room service though. Even my guest was impressed it was his first time in the Bronx. It is so clean and very attractive. Breakfast included and they even have a gym! I will definitely come back to celebrate if my one of my goals come true!

Mar 09, 2025 · Tara HowardA very nice boutique hotel in the Bronx. Yes, the neighborhood is not midtown Manhattan, but you get a lot more for your money. The hotel itself is very nice. Yes, it was a performance and opera house at one point in time. None of the interior survived the ages, but the current remodel fits in very well with the building. The rooms are large and well appointed. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms. Bathroom is also spacious. Plenty of water pressure from the shower and sink. The only two negative things would be the climate control was really loud (but worked well), and the sheets are polyester. Provided free breakfast is more than adequate. Think breakfast bread, cereal, and oatmeal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs. More than enough to get you started on your day. There is also a coffee machine available 24 hours to make regular coffee or espresso or cappuccino. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Entire hotel is very clean. MTA station is about a six minute walk down the street with service on multiple trains to Manhattan. If you’re reading this review, you’re probably considering staying here. I recommend you give it a try.

Mar 18, 2025 · Güray ALTINI gave my review based on the actual hotel. The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were both very spacious, and the complimentary breakfast was very nice. There was also a microwave in our room, which was unexpected, but great to have. The location is close to a subway station, so it is easy to get around, but it is a very rough neighborhood. We were never bothered by anyone while we were there, but we didn't feel very comfortable walking around as two women by ourselves. Having said that, there is a police station a couple of blocks away, so there were often officers parked in front of the building, which was comforting. But the neighbourhood still leaves a lot to be desired.

It is scary with all the drug users walking around like cruising around the state fair. However, for the price I paid in the center of NYC? something’s got it give.
