Friendly, family staff. Rooms are sizable and clean and have a good beachy feel. A few things to note, however: beds are among the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in (like sleeping on boards), in fact the pullout was more comfortable than the actual bed. Amenities are basically non existent from what I could tell; just the bare minimum. It is also quite a hike into town…you’ll definitely get your steps in. Lastly, they charge per person, which I have never experienced ever in a hotel/inn (I’m sure it was in their fine print, but regardless…). In fact it was kind of creepy how they let us know that they “noticed” a third with us (which we weren’t hiding or anything, there was just a pullout couch and plenty of room for the two nights). So they informed us they would be charging us more…kind of felt weird and watched. Friendly people, but won’t stay here again.

Jul 11, 2024 · Lee BondAbsolutely our favorite place to stay in P-town. People who own it are terrific; we look forward to seeing them every year. The suites are beach white and have everything you can imagine needing - including super plush bathrobes! Our balcony (4 units have them) is so on the beach that if you luck out with the tides you can hear the waves all night long. the beach is very family friendly and is deep water at high tide, shallow enough to walk out a couple hundred yards at low tide. Gay friendly and, for couples like us, a romantic retreat.
Aug 04, 2014 · Maeve O’DonovanIt just can't get any better than that! Having "traveled the world" I have never been able to so completely relax within just a few hours of arrival. A major PLUS: The wonderful, WONDERFUL people from the housekeeping to the inn-keeper himself! If you ever get the chance: By all means! GO THERE! Stay in one of the incredible ocean-front room/apartments, bring your own groceries - everything else is waiting for you. ....and sit down on "your own" terrace, watch the tide roll in, and if you did not know what life was really is about, and why it is so important to protect and preserve what we have on/with this planet of ours.... you will!
Jun 12, 2019 · Capt. P.B.Every year better. I love the simple white rooms and it's clean minimalistic look. Nancy, Polly and the owners the Shea's are gracious, warm and friendly. The inn is always perfectly run.
Aug 09, 2017 · Pamela WhiteRomantic, great location, wonderful staff. I’ve been wanting to back so badly. The views and sunsets are second to none. The perfect P-Town getaway right here.
