Wildflower Auberge is a beautiful property with gorgeous amenities and fantastic food - making it a luxurious getaway within a 2-hour drive to the city. We had a nice stay with our dog and also enjoyed the free fitness classes and walking out to explore the on-site farm/farm animals. One minor shortcoming is that some of the furniture and fixtures are starting to show their age - I think nearly every nightstand in our cabin and every table that we dined on was wobbly, and our shower alternated between hot and lukewarm water during the entire stay. Additionally, for the nightly rate and amenities fee, I was expecting a much higher quality of service than what we experienced. While the staff that we interacted with were all friendly, there were a couple of specific instances that fell short for us. Wildflower offers a free valet service which is much appreciated. However, after our car had been whisked away, we realized that we had left some soggy items from a hike in our glove compartment and asked if we could go to the car to retrieve them so they wouldn't get moldy over the next couple of days. The concierge reassured us that they would take care of it for us and remove the items from the compartment to lay them out in the car/trunk to dry. Unfortunately, when the car was brought around when we checked out a couple of days later, the items were still sitting in the glove compartment and still wet. Separately, we had also requested for our car to be charged - and when we picked up the car, it was not charged at all. I totally understand that things can be overlooked when it's busy, but just felt really disappointed with the level of attention given what we had paid. We would still recommend this property to others looking for a getaway but think that there are similar properties in the area that could provide a much better value.

Beautifully decorated resort with superb architecture in a natural setting. Food at the restaurant was very good and the spa facilities were top notch. For a five star hotel, the service left a lot to be desired. The massages we had initially booked got messed up in the booking process so we had a different service than expected. The staff itself don’t seem to be on top of it at all. It would take a while to get drinks, refreshments etc. The beverage station outside would never be replenished on a regular basis. The little attention to detail for a luxury resort and for what you pay is just not there… The outdoor setting could have been more thoughtfully executed. It is also the dead of winter tho so maybe it’s much nicer during the other seasons.

This resort exceeded my expectations!! The property is beautiful, immaculate, and well maintained. The staff (every single one!) was cordial, personal, friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay luxurious. Clay restaurant was beautiful— think ski lodge meets Michelin starred restaurant. Cozy, and comfortable. Wine list was somewhat surprising. I would have liked to have seen more local vineyards and distilleries represented.
