Had the most beautiful four days at Inness. The property is expansive yet walking accessible, and has a wide arrange of activities for guests of any age. The rooms and restaurant are minimalistic yet elevated so that nature remains in the spot night. The cocktail bar and farmhouse are filled with beautiful art, furniture, and emblems from a life in the country. The service at the restaurant is quick and they are very friendly and attentive. The chef pays attention to detail and the breakfast is decadent. The spa treatments were some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff is so professional and I particularly had wonderful service at the spa from Nandini and a massage from Emily. For true isolation, I would book on Mondays or during the week when it empties out after a weekend. 10/10 experience and am already planning my next trip back!

Wonderful solo trip up from the city. The location was convenient yet remote. Well situated on a hillside overlooking beautiful hills with deer. Close to the state park. Excellent hospitality. Cabin was lovely. Next level gym and spa. Restaurant and cocktails were city-level good. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The Inness is a great weekend getaway from the city or in our case Long Island. The location is ideal to visit other sights and towns in the Hudson Valley. The rooms leave a little bit to be desired as far as amenities and overall design. The restaurant was my favorite part, the food, service and actual restaurant with its views were top notch. The spa offered a good massage and uses some of my favorite Biologique Recherche products for facial treatments. The farmhouse has great sitting areas and we really enjoyed the screened in porch on a rainy evening. Also very dog friendly. We had three dogs in our group and it was fun to have them spend time with us.

Definitely overated and way over price for what it is. If you're looking to get a “luxury” getaway as it is stated on their website well run away from Inness as its not what you'll get. The cabine was not properly clean, we had mosquitos smashed on the wall and windows. The cabin was in front of a little pond so you can only imagine the amount of mosquitoes you have flying around your bedroom. There was no hair dryer in the room and you'd expect the snacks to be included in the price you pay but nope.. everything needs to be highly paid even in the middle of nowhere. We went to see the spa as it looked superb on the pictures. We were made aware that the sauna was not working and then asking when it'll be fixed they had no idea… We asked to book a massage treatment but deciding later what we wanted for. The restaurant is nice and the food and drinks great that we couldn't argue about that. Even though the bread was burnt it was was tasty. Had smores on the fire which was nice. The next day we woke up at 7.30am with roadwork right behind our cabine … surprising when you drive 2h out of NY to get a nice quiet time.. we decided to cancel our massage as we needed to go to a near town.. surprise! We couldn't cancel the massages - something nobody made us aware and on top of this we found out the treatment that was booked was the most expensive on the menu (menu that actually was different form their .com and at the actual spa…!?) .. This was just surprise after surprise to be fair We did complain and the lady at the front apologised and help us clear the massages away, deep clean our canin and got us food credit at their restaurant which was a nice gesture.. We Went right after to the restaurant to get breakfast.. another surprise they did not have espresso coffee ..! We did our day, and decided to go to dinner at the restaurant as the food was great.. I ordered the same as the night before and asked for some mustard.. no more mustard… Came back to our room that was finally clean and with a hairdryer, we were disappointed by the fact the cleaner trashed away our leftovers from the s’mores :( The next morning we got woken by staff cutting the grass at 7am this time and we just wanted to run away to be fair.. It was the worst money we've spend probably for my husband birthday. The level of everything was just so so low, don't get fooled by the nice pictures online. The overall staff were nice (except for the spa staff) but the lack of communication on everything was just mind blowing. We wouldn't recommend this stay to anyone that want a “luxury” treatment. There was not one luxury thing there. If you fancy paying a lot of money just to be in some sort of nice camping that’s the place to be.

I just want to say this place seriously has the best people. My friend and I actually only went for dinner, but when it was time to leave my car wouldn’t start. I went to the front desk and Juan absolutely took care of us. He made sure we each got to where we needed to be and went WAY above and beyond. And hey. The view was beautiful and the food was delicious. 10/10, they have a loyal customer.
