May 20, 2025 · KateThe location is perfect. Right in the heart of all the historic attractions- Mint, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, etc. The room was okay, need renovations all throughout the building except the lobby. My room is in need of TLC but what made that part go away was Stevie at the front desk. Not only was she welcoming but she felt like home, had a smile and took TIME to assist. I work in Human Resources and customer service is very important to me. Please recognize Stevie because she gave me great places to eat and made my stay more pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you, Stevie!
May 18, 2025 · Kesha CruzThe room is clean and the staff is polite and kind. The hotel is very close to major tourist attractions. The coffee machine does not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned and I had to cycle water through 4 times for clean water to come out. There are white stains on the upper portion of the shower curtain but they don't smell weird. The WIFI speed appears to be fluctuating from time to time. However these are not deal breakers for myself, especially given the pros of this hotel.
May 09, 2025 · Zehua ChenThe only things I liked about this hotel was the convenient proximity to a bunch of the famous historical and recreational locations, the comfortable beds, and cozy room. Mary, the bartender was also very friendly and made our dining experience nice. Now for the bad…the parking situation sucks. Yes there is a garage connected to the hotel. But it’s not free for guests that are already spending hundreds of dollars for a room. It costs $40+ dollars to park in the garage, which is super sketchy and run down looking, and I did not feel safe walking through it. It doesn’t even look secured either. And the worst part is that we left the garage to go out for a few hours and then came back to it being closed due to it being “full” even though there were visibly open spots. They literally hand you a card with addresses of other parking garages/lots, so I’m sure this is a common occurrence for this place. The fact that it offers a garage but cannot accommodate all its guests is insane. We ended up having to park two blocks away in some sketchy lot overnight. Next, the staff is super rude. As I was checking in, I literally watched one of the staff roll her eyes at a guest for wanting to buy a snickers bar with a $20 bill because she had to take two seconds out of her day to walk a few feet, grab change, count it, and hand it back to the guest. The worker checking us in wasn’t very pleasant either. Lastly, the hallways are kind of run down and can smell very strange. It smelled like feet masked with cleaning supplies on the 7th floor hallway. In addition, the bathroom faucet doesn’t switch the flow of water entirely to the shower head when you go to shower and it causes the bathtub to continuously fill as you’re trying to shower and by the time you’re done, you’re ankle deep in water. It takes forever to drain too. I’m regretting my decision to stay here, and this was a poor experience. I’d look for a better hotel if you’re thinking of staying in the hotel district.
May 10, 2025 · Maddy RiceWe got in late because or train was delayed. The staff was very friendly even though it was busy, our room is clean and very comfortable, the great thing is it being situated in the middle of Old City. Every historical thing from Independence Hall and the Liberty bell is within a few blocks. You can easily walk there. Alot of shops, cafes and coffee places are also surrounding the Hotel.
