This hotel is alright. I've gone here twice for short stays (two to three hours each time). The parking lot in the back is small and can be a bit hectic, but I suppose that depends on the time and day you go. The main entrance appeared clean, plus it had two vending machines. Check-in was quick both times and IDs are required for each guest, which is good for safety. The carpet in the halls looked like it had a few stains. In the room itself, both times there was at least one flickering light. Not sure if that was just my luck or if it's always like that. Both rooms offered heating and cooling features, TVs, and a mini fridge, which was great. The beds were clean, with comfortable pillows and tightly wrapped blankets. The bathrooms had the same design but I really liked them. The shower was large, the mirror big and bright, and there were a few complimentary items. It was also very clean both times, with even the garbage cans being empty. In total, it's not a bad place for a short-term stay, but there are a few things to work out for their customers.

7 Days Hotel Introduce

For individuals and travelers searching within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in the Bronx, New York, the 7 Days Hotel stands out as an economical lodging option. Located at 2338 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, NY 10473, USA, and readily accessible via phone at (718) 822-2434 or mobile at +1 718-822-2434, this hotel caters primarily to short-term stays, offering a straightforward and budget-conscious solution for those seeking immediate accommodation in the area. The "Hotels Near Of Me" platform is designed to connect users with convenient and nearby lodging, making the 7 Days Hotel a relevant choice for anyone looking for hotels in the Bronx.

The environment surrounding the 7 Days Hotel is characterized by its location on Bruckner Boulevard in the Bronx. This area is part of a busy urban corridor, featuring a mix of commercial establishments, light industrial businesses, and residential zones. Bruckner Boulevard itself is a major thoroughfare, which implies easy vehicular access, though it can also contribute to ambient traffic noise, typical of a bustling urban environment. The hotel's setting suggests it is more geared towards transient guests or those needing convenient access to major roads rather than offering a picturesque or pedestrian-friendly neighborhood for leisure walks. The immediate vicinity likely provides access to fast-food restaurants, gas stations, and other roadside conveniences. While the address places it within the Bronx, it is not in the immediate vicinity of major tourist attractions like the Bronx Zoo or Fordham University, which are located further west. Therefore, guests staying at 7 Days Hotel are likely to rely on personal vehicles or ride-sharing services for broader exploration of the Bronx or trips into Manhattan. The hotel's small parking lot, as mentioned in customer reviews, can be "a bit hectic," indicating that managing parking might require patience, especially during peak times.

Based on customer reviews, the services and features offered by the 7 Days Hotel are functional and focused on providing basic comfort for short stays. Key aspects include:

  • Efficient Check-in: Guests have reported that the check-in process is "quick," which is a significant advantage for those looking for a hassle-free arrival.

  • Strict ID Policy: A notable feature is the hotel's strict requirement for IDs from "each guest" during check-in. This policy, while potentially inconvenient for some, is perceived by guests as a positive measure for safety and security, suggesting a proactive approach to managing who enters the premises. One review explicitly states, "There must be a history of riff raff at this location," which clarifies the perceived reason for this strict policy, aimed at ensuring a safer environment for legitimate guests.

  • Room Amenities: Rooms are equipped with essential comforts, including heating and cooling features, TVs, and mini-fridges, which are convenient for storing drinks and snacks. The beds are described as "clean, with comfortable pillows and tightly wrapped blankets," indicating attention to basic bedding hygiene and comfort.

  • Bathroom Features: The bathrooms receive positive remarks, being described as having a "large" shower, a "big and bright" mirror, and being "very clean" with "even the garbage cans being empty." Complimentary toiletries are also provided.

  • Vending Machines: The presence of two vending machines in the clean main entrance offers easy access to snacks and beverages.

  • Parking: A small parking lot is available in the back. While convenient for on-site parking, its limited size can lead to "hectic" situations depending on the time and day.

However, an objective introduction must also address areas identified for improvement from customer feedback. These include:

  • Flickering Lights: A recurring issue in the rooms is "at least one flickering light," which, while minor, can be a persistent annoyance and suggests a need for maintenance attention.

  • Carpet Stains: The carpets in the halls were noted to have "a few stains," indicating that while rooms may be clean, common areas might show signs of wear and tear or require more frequent deep cleaning.

Despite these minor issues, the general consensus from reviews is that the hotel is "alright" and "not a bad place for a short-term stay" or "very economical stay" with "pretty clean" rooms, especially considering its price point.

Regarding promotional information, specific details for the 7 Days Hotel are not widely advertised as it is not part of a large chain with standardized loyalty programs. However, for an independent or smaller hotel operating in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, typical promotional strategies might include:

  • Competitive Pricing: The primary "promotion" is often its economical nature, offering a lower price point compared to larger, more amenity-rich hotels in New York City.

  • Direct Booking Benefits: Encouraging guests to book directly via phone at (718) 822-2434 or +1 718-822-2434 might involve offering slight discounts or more flexible cancellation policies compared to online travel agencies.

  • Short-Term Stay Packages: Given its suitability for "short stays (two to three hours each time)" as mentioned by a reviewer, the hotel might offer hourly rates or very short-term booking options, though this is not explicitly stated.

  • Seasonal Discounts: Similar to other hotels, they might offer reduced rates during off-peak seasons or specific weekdays.

  • Group Rates: For small groups requiring multiple rooms, a customized discount might be available upon direct inquiry.

For the most accurate and current promotional offers, prospective guests should contact the 7 Days Hotel directly. Given the emphasis on ID verification and the nature of some reviews, it's prudent for guests to come prepared with proper identification for all individuals staying in the room. While it may not offer luxury, the 7 Days Hotel appears to provide a clean, secure, and budget-friendly option for those in the Bronx seeking a brief, no-frills stay, particularly when convenience and cost-effectiveness are priorities within the "Hotels Near Of Me" search.

It's a very economical stay and the rooms are pretty clean. They must see an ID to check-in for every guest. They are very strict about this. There must be a history of riff raff at this location.

Hotel was nice, loved the space to park. The staff was welcoming and well behaved and the room was clean and had all amenities! I would recommend!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. We are from out of state, and booked this hotel because it seemed to be the closest to SUNY Maritime. I am not familiar with the area at all, as we just flew in to drop off our student. The room had a horrid stench of disinfectant, roach killer, and weed. The TV did not work at all. There was no coffee in the lobby, neither during the day, nor in the morning. Their other patrons don't care about anyone else--they slam doors all night, yell, fight, etc. I've witnessed a very loud verbal altercation right in front of the check in desk, and the clerk did nothing!!! No police was called! I needed to make sure my student gets rest before a very strenuous INDOC in SUNY Maritime, but that did not happen. I am surprised that the front desk does not do anything! At least, they need to help keep peace and quiet, because that's what the hotel is supposed to be for. The outside area is full of trash, the bridge next to the hotel is undergoing construction; we had to walk a very narrow bridge passageway full of garbage, broken glass, etc. The weed smell was so strong that my student was worried he won't pass his drug test at his college. Do not recommend at all, stay elsewhere.

Being that I booked my flight about less than 36 hours from touchdown in NYC, I knew getting a hotel stay was going to be a challenge. But 7 Days Hotel...well they answered my cry of HELP. This Hotel is The Greatest!!! After an Overbooking at the hotel I was supposed to stay at told me when I went to check in... My brother got me a room at around 2:30 in the morning, and then booked the room for the following day. This hotel is My Knight in Shining Armor. The lobby of this hotel is super clean, and it has a security guard on duty for your safety. Though you wouldn't need one, but it's best to have it and not need it, then...well you know. Vending machines for snacks and drinks, and take out menus in case you want food delivered...which I did. On the 2nd floor... Ice machine, microwave and an Air Fryer. Tables are present, but I didn't see any chairs. I guess you eat in your room. There is even a small medical machine that is supplied with and for anything that ails you. My room wasn't too small or wasn't too big. Comfortable bed. The bathroom... I liked that there was a soothing light surrounding the very large mirror. I am one for soothing lights instead of a harsh overhead light. I spent about 8 minutes trying to figure out how to turn the shower on. Found out how after using the ice bucket to rinse off. You have to turn the ring where the water comes out into the tub. There was a sign right below the showerhead, but I couldn't make out what the 2nd of the two signs said. The Staff... Usually at hotels at 2 in the morning are crumpy and don't like to be bothered. Not the person behind the counter at this hotel. I felt like he was waiting for me the whole night. He made my check in pleasant. I woke up at around 11am, washed my face and went to the front desk. I sent a text last night to the person who booked the room for me...that he had to book my today's stay in my name, and not his. It's the details that make everything go right. The woman at the desk asked me did I need room service or was their anything else that she could help me with. All I needed was the password to the wifi, which she kindly gave to me. This hotel is off the highway with family homes right besides it. The only sounds are those of the traffic on the highway. Once it twice during my stay I heard room doors slamming. The doors are free swinging, and don't close automatically...which is good. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I slept well and wished I had another stay, but I had to go back to Virginia. A +++ to the Staff who made my stay enjoyable.
