What was supposed to be a romantic engagement weekend turned into hell when water starting pouring from our bathroom ceiling all over our clothing/cell phones/hair dryer and curling irons. We had to move rooms, only after did we realize the damage done to our devices. They refunded us the hotel stay but then 2 days later charged us the full amount overdrawing our account. Now they’re saying they took it off $100 our stay which doesn’t even close to Cover my iPhone 15 pro max alone let alone Our other destroyed items. Apparently, the reason was the ice machine above us in a kitchen malfunctioned. I get it, accidents happen but this was not handled correctly. Very disappointing. Sylvie was the manager David cross is the general manager. 0 stars wouldn’t recommend. Definitely won’t be returning.

Feb 25, 2025 · Mal HanleyLoved this hotel. Rooms are beautiful and so is the rest of the hotel. The only issue I had is that the mattresses were very firm. There is a restaurant on site, a rooftop bar area with igloos, a lobby bar, a gas fireplace in the lobby, and a gym. The free lavender sachets are a plus. There is also coffee by the lobby bar each morning, and water and sometimes hot chocolate in the same area during the day. The staff is friendly and helpful. I didn't do valet parking at $40+ per day. Street parking is plentiful and free from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. each day, and until 12 p.m. on Sundays so I just parked on the street and used the ParkMobile app, which you can do from your room as long as you look at the sign nearest your car with the Block #. The distance to Market Street and the rest of the downtown area is very walkable from the hotel.
Jan 02, 2025 · Rachel OnufrakDisappointing service for the price paid!!! Coffee machine in the room was broken, coffee dispenser in the lobby was empty, the employee working in the breakfast area was extremely unhelpful & not friendly. Literally every time we’re in the elevator, someone needs help to another floor because you need your key to get to other floors. Break fast is a buffet that CHARGES you over $20 a person for mediocre food that is gone before breakfast ends. Definitely not staying here again
Apr 26, 2025 · Jovana ThompsonIt was horrible from the moment me and my fiancé walked in A&E disabled combat marine veteran, and I was accused of my service dog, not being a service dog. They are not veteran friendly. They do not care about my needs, and they try charging me for having my service dog And embarrass me in front of everybody in the lobby and made me feel less than a human being for being disabled, the manager did not make it right by doing anything whatsoever, except saying we’re allowed to ask that which they were not allowed to ask to see my certificate the young girl at the Hotel check-in was brand new and I was trying to help her and the manager came over over talk to her and myself and acted arrogant and made me feel that I was wrong for being wounded.
May 19, 2025 · Pete DantonioLocated just a 10min walk from the downtown Portsmouth area which shops & restaurants. The accommodations were very nice, relevant & comfortable. The food at the restaurant & breakfast service were delicious. We didn't visit the lounge but it seemed cozy & relaxing as we walked by. My favorite part was how genuinely nice the staff was. They treated us as if we were guests in their home & made us feel so welcome We were very happy that we stayed here!
