Aug 01, 2020 · David & Beth JacksonI'm biased because I've been going for over 30 years, but Alden's is a delight. Low-key rustic lakeside relaxation, with great food and great fun always. Opportunities to swim, boat, water-ski, play games, or just chill in the hammock. Area is great for cycling or hiking as well.
Aug 15, 2017 · Jonathan BuskyMy husband and many friends have been going to this camp for at least 15 years and I believe it's been longer than that. It is awesome you pay one price and your breakfast ,lunch, and dinner and snacks are included. There meals delicious. Your have your own cabin and have fire places or wood burning stoves. Bathrooms of course. . And depending on how big your party is ,is the size of your cabin on the water. With a dock. And if your have your own boat no problem put it on your dock for your vacation. No boat ,rent one from them. Great price per day or week. They have their own beach and they do banana boat rides and there's floating sun deck. Basketball court. Just great .great place for family's. I'll find out what the pricing is and will up date my review. 2 thumps up
May 07, 2017 · Sheri Bennett-styckiewiczCarter and Martha who own and run the Camp are as good as they come. Their kindness, customer service, attention to detail are top notch!!!! The Camp was founded in 1911, it is rustic and cozy. The camp staff members are extremely kind and always willing to assist.
Aug 17, 2020 · Alex RBeen coming to Alden for five years (without the kids). This year we took the kids (and our dog). The more the merrier. Love this place. All of the cabins are on the water. All of the meals are (great) restaurant quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. You get your own motor boat, located on the dock in front of your cabin. Fishing is great. You can hear - and see loons every day. There is an active bald eagle nest on the lake. Great biking (wide shoulders - paved in 2014). Amazing view of sunsets and thunderstorms from the screened in porch. If all of this doesn't sound good to you - stay away (please)!
