Aloft Boston Seaport has a modern, trendy vibe and a great location in the Seaport District, making it a convenient place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with a fun, contemporary aesthetic. The lobby and common areas also have a cool, social atmosphere, which adds to the experience. That said, the price doesn’t quite match the accommodations. While the stay was enjoyable, the hotel feels overpriced for what you actually get—the rooms, while nice, aren’t particularly spacious or luxurious for the cost. The biggest downside, though, is the extremely high valet parking fee, which feels excessive even for Boston. If you’re driving, be prepared for a serious extra charge. Overall, it’s a solid place to stay if you’re looking for convenience and modern style, but the cost—especially for parking—might make you reconsider. There are likely better value options in the area.

However, as part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, guests can earn and redeem points, potentially offsetting some costs. The hotel's pet-friendly policy is a significant draw for many travelers, allowing up to two dogs weighing up to 50 lbs per pet for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per night (cats are not allowed), with convenient pet relief areas nearby. Pet amenities like beds and bowls may also be available upon request.
Despite some price considerations, the Aloft Boston Seaport District continues to be a solid choice for those prioritizing a convenient Seaport location, modern aesthetic, and a social, energetic hotel environment. Feb 21, 2025 · HD DEnjoyed my stay at aloft, seaport, location and view are the best part. Second call out is great staff and new amenities. What I found odd is that they don’t have active buffet breakfast, it needs to be ordered. Overall great place for business or vacation stay at Boston seaport area.
Apr 19, 2025 · Rohan SethThis hotel is a mixed bag. Room had an air conditioner unit that sounded like a jet engine and I think the thermostat didn't work correctly. My room had a full height window between the sleeping area and the shower + toilet area. Most of the window except the top-most foot or two was opaque but you could still stand next to it and peek into the shower - a very odd design. Bring paper and tape to cover it up. Staff was friendly. Hotel lobby is nice. Elevators extremely efficient. There is no all-you-can-eat breakfast, instead it is a-la-carte with some tasty made-to-order options. Parking is valet, like $52 per night. No public transportation nearby, you'll have to rely on Uber. There's nothing nearby except the convention center.
May 06, 2025 · sevzasDisappointing Customer Service Experience Hello, If you’re expecting any level of accommodation at this hotel, I highly recommend lowering your expectations. Let me share a brief story of my experience. My wife’s birthday is coming up, and she is currently in Boston. I wanted to surprise her with some lobster rolls delivered to her room. Since I’m out of state, I was unable to complete the transaction through Uber Eats or any other delivery app. I called the front desk hoping for some guidance or assistance in arranging the delivery. Between 7:07 PM and 7:43 PM, I made four phone calls, trying to find a solution. Each time, all I got was, “No, we can’t,” repeated over and over. Not a single attempt was made to help. The front desk staff was incredibly unhelpful, unfriendly, and lacked even basic customer service skills—they acted as if assisting a guest was an inconvenience rather than part of their job. To make matters worse, none of the staff members even had the courtesy to provide their names. I can only assume they were either embarrassed by their lack of professionalism or simply didn’t care about their responsibilities. When I mentioned that such poor service would lead to bad reviews, one of the front desk agents sarcastically stated that they “love bad reviews.” Well, here’s mine—as requested. I expected much more from the Marriott Corporation and Bonvoy. This level of service is completely unacceptable and a disappointment coming from such a well-known brand. Date of Incident: [Insert date] Time of Calls: 7:07 PM – 7:43 PM I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.
