I recently stayed at this hotel for a weekend wedding, and while the location was convenient and the reception staff were friendly, there were a few issues that left me feeling disappointed. The location was perfect, as it was right next to a Starbucks and had easy access to the highway, making it simple to get downtown or to other parts of the city. The aesthetic of the hotel was also nice, and I particularly enjoyed the liveliness of the lobby and bar area, which added a great vibe to the overall experience. However, upon checking in, I found a noticeable pee stain on the bed linens. The front desk was quick to respond, and they provided new linens immediately, which I appreciated. However, when I went to make the bed, I discovered there were more pee stains on the mattress protector, which was frankly quite unpleasant. I had to remove the protector, remake the bed, and use my own disinfectant spray just to feel comfortable enough to sleep. The front desk did apologize when I mentioned this at check-out, but there was no additional assistance or compensation offered to address the situation. Because of this, I decided to check out earlier than planned. While the stay was manageable for a single night, the overall cleanliness and the lack of further support made it hard to fully enjoy my time there. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and works on improving cleanliness and guest service to match their potential. 😊

Apr 07, 2025 · Cassidy ValbrunStayed one night due to having to go to a nearby dealership for work on my car. We checked in a little after 4 which went well. The employees at the counter were friendly and the process didn't take long. Our room was a double queen on the fourth floor. For a two queen bed room, it was surprisingly small. The decor was nice and it was definitely clean, but still had a few small issues like the shower handle trim piece was loose and the shower door didn't close all the way, so water could get out if you weren't careful. We also wished the window had some sort of sheer curtain instead of just a large blackout shade because once you closed it, there was no other natural light. The AC unit was also somewhat noisy and rattled a bit during the night. Other than that, the TV was nice and huge and our bed was comfortable and clean. We would have enjoyed the pool, but it was "closed for cleaning" despite the fact that we saw nobody working on cleaning it. Really disappointing considering it was the beginning of May and the weather was perfect for it. Overall, not a bad price for our one night stay and easily could have been 5 stars if the pool was open and the room was just a bit nicer.
May 05, 2025 · Jake RuganisRoom was large and had everything we needed in it. Loved the little table we could eat our food at instead of on the bed. Staff was all lovely to deal with. Our only complaint is how the shower was set up- the water easily got out onto the floor, but with no sloping of the floor to the drain, it got our slippers and our floor mat soaked by the time we both showered.
May 20, 2025 · LaceyLayout of the room was nice; however, the mattress seemed worn out and I didn't not sleep well on the mattress. There were several pillows of different types which was nice but I didn't sleep well on the mattress. Coffee bar was okay. Lobby was nice with contemporary furniture, bar, and pool table. Located right next to the interstate either an easy on ramp close by.
Apr 13, 2025 · Elaine PatrickOne Star - Disappointing and Unhygienic Stay (Marriott Bonvoy Member) - We Checked Out Immediately As loyal Marriott Bonvoy members, we were extremely disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel. From the moment we walked through the door, the experience was subpar. We were not greeted or even acknowledged by any staff members upon arrival, which was a disappointing start to our stay, especially considering our loyalty to the Marriott brand. While the receptionist who eventually assisted me was kind, the initial lack of acknowledgement was off-putting. We had requested and been granted an early check-in, but our room was not ready upon our scheduled arrival time. We were left waiting an additional 20 to 30 minutes, which was inconvenient and frustrating, particularly after anticipating the benefits of our Bonvoy membership. However, the true shock came when we finally entered our room. While the bed was made and the furniture appeared in place, the state of the restroom was absolutely disgusting. There was pubic hair all over the floor and throughout the shower. This level of uncleanliness is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one within the Marriott family. The state of the room was so appalling that we immediately checked out of the hotel. We did not feel comfortable spending even one night in such unsanitary conditions. We ended up going to another hotel that was not affiliated with Marriott, which thankfully provided a much cleaner and more welcoming environment. The fact that a room could be presented to valued Bonvoy members in this state is appalling and reflects poorly on the hotel's standards. We were so dissatisfied that we didn't even attempt to resolve the issue further with this particular property, opting instead to leave and find alternative accommodation. Adding to our concerns about this hotel brand, I also had a concerning break-in experience at an Aloft in Waco, Texas. It seems this brand needs to seriously address its standards for cleanliness, room readiness, and overall security to maintain the trust of its loyal members. Our recent experiences have left us with a very negative impression of the brand, so much so that we chose to stay elsewhere.
