Do not go here if customer service is something that is important to you. I never really review anyone, but this one had me highly upset! My daughter had her birthday out of town with family and so we did have a few kids with us. While checking in thenfront desk staff was unhelpful, rude, un welcoming, and called for a manager the manager also was rude and unwelcoming not have a nice stay nothing. For the price u pay i would expect better. I heard the manager tell the front desk staff yea when they walk in ima tell em. That we had to many children one of them an infant and that the room does not accomodate that. Which they were not all staying but it was absolutely how it was relayed. No smile. No worries just unwelcoming. They clearly had an issue with children and this should be advertised as a NON FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL. Only animals. Lol the bartender also refused to make my mother a drink the way she wanted even after paying 15.00 for it and stated she was a "craftologist" as the reason. Also only 5 people in the pool at a time so if you and another room want to swim at the same time they will fine you $100! Also no breakfast that is also not advertised as it should be. Thanks!

This makes it a highly recommended choice for travelers with canine companions, as noted by enthusiastic pet owners. However, it is essential for guests with children to be aware of the feedback regarding the hotel's perceived family-friendliness, as some reviews indicate challenges with staff attitudes towards families and strict pool rules (e.g., a limit of 5 people in the pool at a time with a stated fine for exceeding this). While the hotel's official amenities list it as "family-friendly" with cribs and refrigerators, potential guests should consider these direct customer experiences.

It is always advisable for potential guests to visit the official Marriott website or contact Aloft Louisville East directly to inquire about the most current and applicable promotions for their travel needs. Given the feedback on the pool and family policies, it's recommended to clarify any specific concerns directly with the hotel prior to booking, especially for families or larger groups.
Customer reviews for Aloft Louisville East highlight both strengths and areas for improvement. A consistently positive aspect is the hotel's pet-friendly nature, with many guests praising the welcoming attitude towards their dogs. The modern aesthetic and comfortable beds are also frequently mentioned favorably. However, several critical reviews express significant dissatisfaction with customer service, particularly concerning interactions with front desk staff and management. Some guests have reported experiences of feeling unwelcome, especially if traveling with multiple children, leading to a perception that the hotel may not be as family-friendly as some might expect, despite amenities like cribs. Issues related to pool capacity restrictions (a reported limit of 5 people at a time) and associated potential fines have also been a point of contention for some guests. Additionally, the lack of complimentary breakfast, which is available for a fee, has been a surprise or disappointment for some travelers. The W XYZ bar and the overall modern ambiance are generally appreciated, but the perceived lack of warmth in customer interactions and specific policies like those for the pool and breakfast have impacted guest satisfaction for some visitors.

Apr 24, 2025 · Amber GoodmanMy wife and I love to travel with our dogs, they are our kids since we cannot have any. More and more hotels are becoming pet friendly but this chain is the 1st one we found that's affordable and we go back to this very hotel every time we come to Louisville. 10000% recommend!
Mar 31, 2025 · Rick romickThe shampoo bottle was broken and asked for a replacement and got attitude. The soap burned my daughters area and caused her face to break out. Nowhere to put your own items in the shower. No garbage bags. The pool has way too much chlorine! And they upcharge EVERYTHING 12.00 for a drink and u have to pay for breakfast! No microwaves in the rooms and they put the mini fridge in the bathroom under the sink the a/c loud as hell! & beware the drunks at the bar and in the lobby all night! The lady at the front desk was very unhelpful amd would not give me her name and the very small manager with the afro told me about the 200 upcharge or deposit for the room did not expand or give details of when it will be returned and she stated it "you know theres a 200 dollar deposit right" and took my card as if i could not pay for it. But this interaction started poorly due to the front desk staff being very rude and unwelcoming she was a larger african American woman because it was ridiculous.
Apr 24, 2025 · Kera StiversI was really looking forward to my stay because the hotel looks stylish and modern, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The room was incredibly inconvenient — the fridge was under the bathroom sink and not easily accessible, and the coffee machine was oddly placed by the entrance inside the bathroom, which just felt really strange and unhygienic. There was no space in the shower for any toiletries — not even a toothbrush — so I had to keep everything on top of the toilet. The floor was made of freezing cold ceramic or porcelain tile, and to make matters worse, the heater didn’t work. I was freezing all night, and the thin comforter didn’t help at all. When I tried to change rooms the next day since the heater turned out to be broken (!), the staff member I spoke to was rude and unhelpful, blaming me for not reporting the issue earlier. I had just checked in the night before after a long drive and was working all day — I didn’t have time to immediately report everything, and frankly, it shouldn’t have been my responsibility to fix all of this. I had booked the room for a week but ended up leaving early. It’s unfortunate, because the hotel could be great — but the poor design choices and lack of empathy from staff made the stay really uncomfortable.
Mar 26, 2025 · Anastasiia UrsovaThought it was gonna be a nice place, bad service over priced on pretty much everything. Think the maid service went through our stuff as well, and it's been weeks and still have not gotten our deposit back of 200 dollars. And the pool has way to much cloren in it, burnt my lil girls eyes 👀 😑 😐 😢
