This place stinks. The walls are thin and the adjoining rooms have crappy locks. Slamming doors, loud staff and bickering past midnight. I’ve been in motels in Arizona that were safer. Why is the floor in a newly renovated room sticky? And the morning staff? Apathetic to any needs that may arise. The room I was in was freshly renovated and it was a seriously poor use of space. Do better BW!

The surrounding area is relatively quiet, composed of other commercial establishments catering to travelers, along with the rural landscape of West Coxsackie. While not offering extensive natural vistas or urban vibrancy, the environment serves the purpose of a convenient stopover. The hotel is within a reasonable driving distance of attractions in the Capital Region, including Albany (approximately 20-30 minutes away), which offers historical sites, museums, and dining. Local points of interest might include outdoor recreational areas or small-town charm, though the hotel's immediate vicinity is focused on highway accessibility. The hotel aims to provide a clean and well-maintained environment, though recent customer feedback indicates that ongoing renovations have impacted the guest experience and overall cleanliness.

The features of the Best Western New Baltimore Inn include its range of room types, typically offering options such as rooms with one king bed or two queen beds, often with microwaves and refrigerators. While aiming for modern comforts, some recent customer reviews indicate that while renovations may be underway, the execution or current state of the rooms, including cleanliness and amenities, might not always meet expectations, with specific mentions of sticky floors, dry urine drips, and a poor use of space in "freshly renovated" rooms. This suggests a disconnect between the intention of renovation and the current guest experience. Soundproofing has also been a concern, with reports of thin walls leading to noise disturbances from adjoining rooms and staff. The hotel generally provides standard in-room amenities such as flat-screen TVs, coffee/tea makers, and hair dryers. The presence of an indoor pool is a key recreational feature, and the pet-friendly policy is a distinct advantage for those traveling with animals. Despite being a chain hotel, the individual property's current condition and service execution, as highlighted in guest feedback, are crucial considerations. The hotel's position as a quick on/off point from I-87 is a consistent practical feature, making it easy to locate and access for those in transit.
Regarding promotional information, Best Western properties typically leverage their brand recognition for reliability and value. For the Best Western New Baltimore Inn, promotions would emphasize its convenient location for travelers on I-87, highlighting its ease of access to both Albany and other points in the Capital Region. The complimentary full hot breakfast is a strong selling point, as is the indoor heated pool, which adds significant value, especially for families. The pet-friendly policy is another feature that is often promoted to attract a specific segment of travelers. The "Newly Renovated" aspect might also be used in promotions, although current customer feedback indicates that guests should manage expectations regarding the quality and completeness of these renovations. Best Western Rewards programs are generally promoted, offering points and benefits for loyal guests. While the hotel aims to offer a comfortable and consistent experience associated with the Best Western brand, prospective guests searching "Hotels Near Of Me" for this specific property should pay close attention to very recent customer reviews. The feedback regarding cleanliness issues, ongoing construction, and noise disturbances suggests that the current guest experience may not fully align with the standard promotional messages of a Best Western hotel. Therefore, while the hotel promotes its standard amenities and brand affiliation, the actual guest experience, at the time of these reviews, appears to be impacted by operational challenges during a period of transition or renovation, leading to a variable level of satisfaction.

Mar 13, 2025 · John LEAVITTUnder construction on both floors, drywall & drywall screws throughout the halls & I was traveling with the dog so that was fun making sure he didn't step on or eat any of the hazards on their floors. The room I was in had been remodeled but there was dry urine drips on the floor in front of the toilet. I took a shower and was disgusted to walk in the room with my bare feet after because the floor throughout the room had dry mud from boots, drywall pieces and dog hair from previous guests. The hotel is disgusting and shouldn't be renting rooms until they finish the construction and clean the place 🤢 I was only there for a few hours g did not take photos. If you don't believe me pay a hundred plus dollars a room and go see for yourself 🤷🏼♀️
Mar 14, 2025 · Lori BeckerThis hotel should not be open to the public until they complete the renovations. The construction noise was unacceptable, there was dust, dirt, and construction debris everywhere, and there was exposed electrical work in the dining area. Apart from the front desk staff who whole heartedly apologized for the dismal appearances and, who partially reimbursed us for the stay, there is nothing good to say about this hotel. Do not stay here until you can get an assurance that this construction is complete and the place is habitable. The front desk staff advised that they thought it would be late February before the construction was completed.
Dec 22, 2024 · Tor SThe hotel was completely under construction which I get but all the amenities were out of service. Door to my room didn't shut no shades in the room it wasn't finished basically and shouldn't have been rented but meh. Not saying I wouldn't stay here again but for the price it kind of felt absurd getting into the room and seeing the shades on the floor. It was just disappointing I guess. Staff did apologize for the construction when I checked in. I get it but yikes. The new pain color is nice (blue my fav) lol
