We are a family of 7 who were evicted in the middle of winter and this was the only place for us to go. Sarah the manager was very very sweet and helpful. She helped our situation and we ended up living here for 3 months spending Christmas and new years here. The staff were very nice and we all became friends. There were free select beverages at all times. The free breakfast was pretty much the same every single day and at times ran out of stuff. The use of the cafe area was very nice. The pool had a lot of issues and was usually cold. The Waterville locations pool definitely beat this one and was very warm. The pool flooring outside the pool was very slippery and so was the stairs. I fell a couple times as a disabled man and so did the kids. I don’t understand the choice of flooring. My kids were constantly getting ear infections from the pool but not at any other locations. The ice machines were only upstairs, the grounds were full of dog poop. However the manager is incredible and so is the staff and the rooms are very clean. Corporate is all about the money and does not care about people struggling. We still enjoyed our stay and owe a lot of thanks to the manager and staff. We miss all of them. The lobby was very nice and they even had a small store next to the desk. Thank you everyone there for making our stay amazing!

Mar 30, 2025 · James OlsonWe had checked in on 5/16 (Fri) and checked out 5/18 (Sun). I was with my husband and our dog. I really appreciated that we are able to travel with her. There was a $30/night pet fee added to the reservation. We did get a welcome baggie for her of poo bags and some treats. Really made us feel welcome as a couple who travels with our dog. The room itself was clean. I loved that there was hardwood floors. We were in room 124, the end of the hall on the first floor. I am not sure if this was a pet specific room or not, but everything was clean. I did also really enjoy the full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I completely forgot my own so this was nice to have readily available on our trip. Once we arrived on Friday, they were doing construction in the room right above us. We expected that it wouldn't go into the night, so we had left to wander Brunswick and have dinner with some friends. Once we returned, the construction was done for the evening and everything was generally quiet. (A complaint we did have about our room was the door, there was a lot of gaps in the door, all around, which let light in and noise. With being at the end of the hall, we had the double doors leading outside right next to us and other guests we not aware of how heavy they were and we kept hearing doors slam.) Our sleep did get disturbed Friday night into Saturday by someone who was working with BW; taking a hammer, chisel and crowbar to the ATM. I do not know if they were fixing it, their card got stuck or trying to break into it, but the noise traveled down to our room and woke us up. Any of the above is not something that warrants hammering at 230a. If my husband didn't go down to talk to him, he probably would have continued. It stopped as soon as he returned to the room. Also, construction started right at 8am on Saturday. We did speak with the Front Desk Agent on Saturday, and he did offer apologies for the worker and the construction. He mentioned he would talk with the crew to make sure they wouldn't start on Sunday until 10am. With us not sleeping well, we unfortunately knew we couldn't go back to take a nap during the day. We left the room around 930a and retuned after 730p. We did get some sleep Saturday into Sunday, which was nice and needed. We utilized the continental breakfast both days. Everything was stocked and clean. Overall, not a terrible stay, but not a restful one either. Would most likely return, but ask for a different room away from the end of hall doors.
May 19, 2025 · Jennifer Raymond HighetRooms are dated, but the beds are comfortable. Nice to have access to a small deck and lawn to walk my dog. Front desk service was excellent.
Apr 30, 2025 · Karen PRecent remodeled. Only problem is the windows do not close all the way. 1st time I stayed end of January 2025 and the temperature was 13 degrees. Had a 1st floor room and it sounded like the snowplow truck was in the room. The room was freezing since the window was bolted open and no way to close. Front desk said they were aware of the problem. Now in February 2025 I insisted on a 2nd floor room because I was told the problem was only on the 1st floor. Wrong. The window is the same as the 1st floor. Over priced for what you receive in my opinion. Make sure the person/company doing the renovation knows how to install a window. Edited after response from general manager. Seems like the same response to every bad post. After I complained last month no repairs were made. I would think a plan and repairs should have been completed. I will not try a 3rd time when there are other options. The staff knows it is a problem and act like they are hearing it for the 1st time. FIX THE PROBLEM! Looks else where and you would have a better stay in my opinion.
Mar 01, 2025 · Stephen QuinnI booked this hotel online for a one night stay with my wife and son while we did some things in maine. I specifically booked this hotel based on having a pool, non smoking, and a good rating. We arrived and went to our room. In the hallway all you can smell is bleach. We assumed this was good expecting it to be clean. First thing you notice is the gross bathroom. The floor grout is so dirty, mirror had splatter of maybe spit smeared on it, and sink had toothpaste residue. Used the bathroom and the already broken toilet paper holder fell right off. Next we went to the pool since my 5 year old was excited to swim. Get the pool and there are signs posted saying "sorry, pool heater is currently broken". I still let my son swim for a short time as he shivered in the cold water in most shallow pool ive ever aeen at a hotel. 4ft deep. The pool room has nasty drains all around the floor with fuzz and looked like mold as well as many areas of cracked flooring and stuff chipping off the walls. The one tredmill in the exercise room was also out of order. The pool having an issue should have been disclosed at check in.Went back to our room and got comfortable to sit down on the bed that we quickly noticed had lots of stains on the comforter. The window in our room didnt even fully close to use the regular lock so it was screwed shut with the cool air coming in and being able to hear the traffic outside.Checking out we let the manager know of our concerns and they refunded us only $16. I will never return there.
