Having stayed here in the past, we were again pleased to discover that the rooms are still clean, quiet, and comfortable. This hotel features three made-to-order breakfast offerings, but the two we ordered were not standouts, and hardly justify keeping a chef on the premises. You can find decent scrambled eggs at many hotels, which offer them in a hot food bar. The French toast would benefit from better quality bread. Best Western's sausages are unappealing and tasteless. This facility has abandoned its once environmentally-friendly policy of offering reusable dishes and utensils. Now, everything is plastic -- an unfortunate change from the past. The hotel's location is some distance from downtown. If you want to be closer, check out the East Towne location.
For Wisconsin residents, a visit to Madison, our state capital, is a frequent and enjoyable occasion. Whether it's for a business meeting, a weekend of shopping, or visiting friends and family, finding a reliable and comfortable place to stay is key. When your travels take you to the west side of Madison, the Best Western West Towne Suites stands out as a solid choice. This hotel offers a familiar and dependable experience, combining the trusted quality of the Best Western brand with a location that is both quiet and conveniently situated. It's a place that understands the needs of a traveler, providing a clean and comfortable environment that feels like a home away from home, even if you’re just a short drive from your own. This comprehensive guide will walk you through the details of this hotel, from its practical location to its key features, helping you understand why it's a great option for your next trip to Madison.
The hotel has a reputation for being a consistently clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. Guests who have stayed in the past are often pleased to find that this standard has been maintained, making it a reliable choice for repeat visitors. The rooms are described as "very clean" and the beds as "comfortable," which are two of the most important factors for a good night’s rest. The check-in and check-out process is noted as being "quick and efficient," ensuring a smooth and hassle-free start and end to your stay. While the hotel offers a variety of amenities, one of its most highlighted features is the complimentary made-to-order breakfast. While some guests have critiqued the quality of certain items, such as the French toast and sausage, the presence of a made-to-order option is still a significant value-add that goes beyond the standard continental breakfast. Having a dedicated cook on-site to prepare fresh eggs or pancakes is a service that many hotels don’t offer, providing a nice touch to start your day.
However, it's worth noting some changes that have been observed over time. The hotel has moved away from its previous environmentally-friendly policy of using reusable dishes and utensils, now opting for plastic. While this is a small detail, it’s a point that some environmentally-conscious guests have taken note of. Additionally, the hotel's breakfast setup may require a bit of patience. One guest noted a small issue with communication during the breakfast service, where their number was called but they did not hear it, causing a slight delay. While this was not a "big issue" for the guest, it's a small detail to be aware of. Overall, the hotel maintains a strong reputation for its core offerings: cleanliness, comfort, and good service. The inclusion of a complimentary breakfast with made-to-order options, even with some room for improvement, is a definite perk that adds to the value of the stay.

Aug 03, 2025 · Charles DunlopThe room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Check on and out were quick and efficient. The breakfast was good. The cook gave me a number to place on my table. I waited a long time and saw other people getting their breakfast. I finally went up to the counter and asked and was told they called my number. I was not told they would call me. But again the food was good and this was not a big issue.
Jul 16, 2025 · Edgar TREACERoom was very clean and in good working order. Nice bathroom. We had two king sized beds. Hot breakfast each morning with some standard items as well like fruit, cereal, etc. pet friendly which was nice. Got to bring my pup. I do believe there’s a 80lb weight limit on dogs.
Jul 06, 2025 · Jacob KauffmanGreat value for the money. Everything was neat and clean in the room. No traffic noise or other excessive noise from outside. I stayed here a couple of years ago, and I believe there have been upgrades and renovations since that time. The staff is helpful and available, trying to make my stay as comfortable as possible, under less than perfect circumstances. I had a serious car issue issue that needed immediate I’m attention. My one night stay eventually turned into a three night stay.
Jul 08, 2025 · Ron ZgundaWe had a very good experience at your hotel. The staff was professional and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was freshly made for us and there were many hot and cold choices. The coffee was abundant and nicely brewed. I would be happy to stay there again.
