Feb 28, 2025 · Kathy MacPhersonScores would have been higher overall however I did not feel safe during my stay. On the first night I got a call from the front desk after my friend and I had checked in. The front desk woman said that my “boyfriend was here to meet me” I said “what?” Then she said “there’s a man here that said he’s here to meet his girlfriend and friend who just checked in”. I informed the woman that neither myself or my friend were expecting anyone… the front desk woman then hung up the phone. The next morning I asked the same woman about what had happened and she said when the strange man approached her saying he was meeting his girlfriend and her friend she immediately thought of us and called the room. She then said that the guy could not tell her either of our names or any other info about us which is when she sent him away. I also suggested removing the white board with guest names from the front desk. I can’t imagine what would have happened had the creepy guy randomly chose my name off the board and give it to the aloof front desk woman. The rest of my stay I did not feel safe at all.
May 11, 2025 · Abby LantermanLovely place, clean, warm, and quiet with an excellent staff who were always very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed a beautiful, comfortable, spacious room, as well as benefitting from the kind and accommodating front desk manager who went above and beyond, making us feel settled amidst the disturbances from the winter storm. Breakfast was delicious and abundant with choices. We're thankful, and hope to return
Feb 18, 2025 · Nancy ManlyIt's hard for me to travel because of all my allergies. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable! The rooms are very clean which I love. They had great choices for breakfast. Pizza and drinks can be purchased at the front desk and Dysarts is right in front of it for an easy restaurant, gas and store. We will be back.
Oct 28, 2024 · GoodiesWent in August 2024 for our 20th anniversary- this was by far the best hotel we've been to. Great historic elements when you walk in, we stayed in the Wilderness Lodge Suite, which was oversized, great jetted tub, the walk in shower has 2 shower heads, is oversized, and the toilet/shower is separated by a door from the sink area. They had a true full hot breakfast, iced coffee machine in the front, and a small menu if you want to order pizza or drinks without leaving the hotel for an extra fee. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
