I am a Blue Green owner this is the only reason that I stay at this resort. The customer service is horrible from the front desk staff as well as the men at the parking garage. I pay alot of matenience fees to stay here but there is always an issue when you try to take your luggage out of the car. The ammenties such as the sauna and hot tub have been broken for two years. This is the worse resort of all of the Blue Green Resorts. They need to be ashamed of theirselves!!!
For individuals and families exploring options under the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the Bluegreen Vacations at Atlantic Palace, Ascend Resort Collection, presents a unique proposition. Located at 1507 N New York Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, USA, this property operates as part of the Bluegreen Vacations timeshare network while also being part of the Ascend Resort Collection, offering a blend of vacation ownership amenities and traditional hotel services. Its central location is arguably its most significant selling point, providing immediate access to the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk and the city's vibrant casino scene.
The environment of Bluegreen Vacations at Atlantic Palace elicits mixed reactions from guests. While its prime location near the Boardwalk is highly praised, the overall condition and upkeep of the property's common areas and even some in-room elements have drawn criticism. Descriptions such as a room being "super 'tired'" with a couch featuring "old nasty duct tape that said warehouse" suggest that the decor and furnishings might be dated and not consistently well-maintained. There are significant concerns raised about the functionality and availability of amenities, with guests reporting that the "sauna and hot tub have been broken for two years." This indicates a lack of investment in key facilities, which can impact the resort experience, especially for those expecting full resort amenities. The external appearance and common areas, though not explicitly detailed, can be inferred to be less than pristine given the feedback on interiors and broken amenities.
Customer service at Bluegreen Vacations at Atlantic Palace appears to be a notable area of concern, based on guest reviews. Multiple accounts describe the service as "horrible" or "the worst I've ever experienced." Specific issues cited include front desk staff who "literally didn't even bother to ask us to help after standing in front of the desk," and negative experiences with the men at the parking garage, particularly regarding assistance with luggage. While some staff members, such as bell boys, were described as "very nice," the overall sentiment points to significant inconsistencies and a general lack of attentiveness from key customer-facing roles. For a resort, especially one associated with a timeshare brand that relies on guest satisfaction, these service shortcomings are critical and prospective guests should be aware of them. The phone number for the hotel is (609) 344-8800 or +1 609-344-8800, which guests would use for direct inquiries or to address issues.
Despite the challenges in service and some aspects of the environment, the rooms themselves have received some positive comments regarding cleanliness. Guests noted that "the beds appeared clean," which is a fundamental positive for any accommodation. The property operates as an all-suite hotel, meaning rooms are typically larger than standard hotel rooms and often include separate living areas and kitchenettes, characteristic of timeshare properties. This can be a major feature for families or longer stays, allowing for more space and the ability to prepare some meals. However, the overall impression of rooms being "tired" suggests that while functionally clean, they may lack modern updates or aesthetic appeal. The hotel likely offers standard in-room amenities such as television, private bathrooms, and possibly Wi-Fi, though details on the latter are not specified in the provided reviews. The presence of these in-suite features can offer greater convenience and flexibility for guests compared to a traditional hotel room.
The standout feature of Bluegreen Vacations at Atlantic Palace remains its "great location." Positioned just off the Boardwalk at 1507 N New York Ave, guests have easy and immediate access to the beach, the famous boardwalk attractions, and the array of casinos, dining, and entertainment options that Atlantic City is known for. This strategic placement means that many of Atlantic City's highlights are within a short walk or drive, minimizing travel time and maximizing leisure. For visitors whose primary goal is to immerse themselves in the Atlantic City experience, the location offers undeniable convenience.
In terms of promotional information, as an Ascend Resort Collection property, Bluegreen Vacations at Atlantic Palace likely participates in the Choice Privileges loyalty program, allowing guests to earn and redeem points for stays. For Bluegreen owners, their ownership provides the primary access to this resort, and they pay maintenance fees for the privilege of staying there. While not explicitly mentioned, properties in popular tourist destinations like Atlantic City often have seasonal rates, weekend packages, or special offers. Prospective guests are encouraged to check the official Ascend Resort Collection website, Bluegreen Vacations website, or call the hotel directly at the provided phone numbers for specific promotions, availability, and to understand any fees associated with resort amenities or parking. However, it's important to note the consistent feedback regarding broken amenities when considering the value of any resort fees. The property's presence in the "Hotels Near Of Me" search category indicates its availability for direct bookings outside of timeshare exchanges, offering a different pathway for potential guests to find and book rooms.
In summary, Bluegreen Vacations at Atlantic Palace, Ascend Resort Collection, offers a prime location for those seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in Atlantic City, providing direct access to the beach and boardwalk. While the cleanliness of the beds is a positive, and the all-suite setup offers more space and potential kitchen facilities, prospective guests should be prepared for an environment that may appear dated and be aware of consistent negative feedback regarding customer service and the functionality of key amenities like the sauna and hot tub. For Bluegreen owners, it serves as an option within their network, but external guests should carefully weigh the benefits of the location against the reported challenges in service and property upkeep. It's an option for those prioritizing proximity to the action and willing to accept a potentially less polished or serviced experience.

Oct 06, 2024 · Avi Smith-RapaportI am a Bluegreen owner and have embarked on using all the resorts available to me. This resort is in an awesome location with both casinos, boardwalk and beach right outside our door. The room we stayed in was a studio with ample space and a fabulous view. It could use a bit of updating and a thorough cleaning and refresh. Otherwise, it was well equipped and just right for 2 of us
Sep 06, 2023 · Angie OxleyBeautiful hotel! Great ocean view!
May 15, 2025 · David McKinneyTerrible experience compounded by terrible management by both the resort and Bluegreen customer service. Resort is in a crime/drug filled area. With long wait times for elevators/rooms and pool is no bigger than a tub. Neither the resort or Bluegreen cared enough address
