One of the nicest hotels I’ved stayed at in Louisville. Immaculately clean. It felt upscale and modern. The front desk staff were attentive, always behind the desk, and friendly. The cocktails and coffee were delicious. Lots of local shops and restaurants in walking distance. The rooms were very large and we didn’t hear talking in the adjacent rooms or hallways. We will be trying to stay here on our future visits. Great first experience at a Cambria!

Mar 23, 2025 · Ryan LacyThis is a beautiful hotel with a very reasonable price for the area—at least in the winter time when I visited. The room was comfortable and quiet, had a very modern and tasteful design, and they have a blackout shade available on the window and minimal disruptive lights within the room. If you're particularly light-sensitive when sleeping, this is one of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in. Everything was immaculately clean, too. I didn't have time to use it during my stay, but the pool was warm and looked very inviting. Please note that after-hours, a key card is needed to enter the building, so if you need to get to the lobby to check in, look for the video paging system to the right of the door. There is also convenient on-site parking below the hotel, at street level, and it was $22 per day. The hotel is conveniently located near a bunch of sights, distilleries, and restaurants, and the neighborhood is very walkable, so this is a great place to stay when visiting the town.

Jan 02, 2025 · Justin TalleyWe stayed here when they 1st opened and had fun with other people in the bar area. Stayed on the way home to MI last week. We still really like it. Close to places by foot in good weather. I left my fleece jacket in Jackdaws earliwe this week while having a snack. I called them as soon as I realized it, and I was told they charge a minimum of twenty-five dollars to send my jacket back to me. She then said her manager would call me. Waiting
Apr 11, 2025 · Natalie NassifWriting this makes me so sad considering we stay here every year when my husbands baseball team plays the Louisville Bats and we usually have a great experience. Today we had issues with our a/c not working and leaking water which soaked the carpet and our belongings. When I brought the concern to who was working the front desk they were very impatient and rude not even letting me speak. My husband called back and he was just as rude and impatient with him as well. The manager, Ellen, came up to check on the a/c and tried to explain to me that the a/c was turning off on its own because it is “motion censored”. When it came to the water leaking, she was asking questions implying that maybe we were the reason the a/c was broken. Many other of my husbands coworkers and their wives that are staying in this same hotel have had horrible issues with their a/c as well. We have been here since Tuesday and leave Sunday. Instead of apologizing and reassuring longtime customers, she definitely had a passive aggressive type of attitude. I told her my issue with the front desk and she did not once apologize for her employees and the way they handled the phone call. Not that it is her fault her employees are rude, but she seemed to not care at all about the way we were treated. I decided to ask the maintenance man if the a/c units were motion censored because I was feeling horrible about making a complaint but he confirmed they were not, letting me know the manager was lying. This goes to show that management was not trying to take accountability for the issues they have regarding the rooms. My husbands belongings got soaking wet from the dripping of the a/c through the night leaving some things damaged. I then asked her if we would be discounted for the issues and inconvenience and she claimed to “see what she could do” and I still have not heard back. With that being said maintenance, his name is Michael, was the most kind person I have dealt with today. He was very eager and quick to fix the issue for me, reassuring me that the issue was not caused by us. He made us feel comfortable and at ease knowing the issue came from in house and for me not to worry. Michael is definitely the nicest person I have been in contact with regarding this issue. He explained he was worried at first because the manager explained how “upset” I was and to have the issue fixed asap, when I was more upset with how we were treated than the issue with the a/c itself. I hope this hotel staff, including the manager, Ellen, strives to be better. The attitudes and passive aggression was truly uncalled for. With that being said, to the manager, maybe treat your customers with respect and maybe they won’t be “mad” when explaining an issue that causes THEM inconvenience. When someone is speaking to you try looking them in the eyes and not down at your phone as well. Remember that your customers are paying your establishment, not the other way around. Thank you Michael for everything!! God bless your sweet soul!!
