My first stay at Canopy by Hilton in Jersey and it was great. I've been staying in a Jersey City Hotel since 2006. I've watched the city grow up, new buildings, new businesses and yet it's familiar to me. The Canopy allows me to walk to the market, the post other local shops. The mall is a short walk down Washington Street, about a mile. I love that it's only :20 minutes to drive into NYC and :35 minutes to drive into Brooklyn. My room was spacious, the staff was welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed my stay. I was there for business and pleasure.

May 20, 2025 · Micki K KirklandWe used Canopy by Hilton for our wedding room block. Bridnette was very helpful and accommodating from the beginning stages of planning. She made several tweaks to our hold to ensure all guests had rooms. Once wedding time came around, the whole hotel staff was unreal. The rooms were very clean and super spacious. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. So many guests complimented how wonderful of a hotel the Canopy was and it was just for sleeping! Thanks Hilton team!
Apr 25, 2025 · Devonne FranklinExceptional hotel with very helpful staff members and a very pleasing aesthetic. My guests were delighted to stay here and enjoyed the comfort and space in the room. It has everything you would expect from a modern and artsy room in a super convenient location close to not just NYC but also tons of great spots in Jersey City! The front desk helped me resolve a concern with my payment very promptly and answered all my questions patiently. Would definitely visit again!!
Apr 28, 2025 · Sanket SahasrabudheThis hotel was amazing. It’s right in downtown Newark and minutes from where we were staying. The keys are wooden so you don’t deactivate them with your phone by accident. The restaurant food is delicious and the amenities were well welcomed. I felt safe at the hotel and loved all the touches. Definitely will stay again.
Mar 25, 2025 · Jeanille RockettVery modern rooms. Clean. Plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Very small, but that's normal for NYC area hotels. Nearby many places to eat, parking, Mall, etc. Holland Tunnel only a few minutes away.
