Great hotel. It's a converted old bank and has many charming vintage garnishes. Location is fabulous. A two-minute walk to the PATH subway station and the next stop is World Trade Center on the New York side of the Hudson. It was so convenient to have that station so close. Hotel was very clean and nice. The breakfast buffet was great, too. Always hot food like scrambled eggs and sausage, but you also got "daily" varieties like pancakes and french toast. Breakfast location was at the terrace on the 12th floor so the view of New York was breathtaking! Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. Walk-in shower was amazing. Really nice room-darkening full window shade made it nice and dark even in the morning.

May 22, 2025 · David Yarnall AuthorFirst visit on Saturday, May 3 using my free night certificate. Have to say what a great hotel, the front desk acknowledged me as a Discoverist and gave us 2 bottles of water. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet for free and it was very good, coffee is excellent. Rooms as well as the bathrooms are large and up to date. Looking forward to next year.
May 11, 2025 · Arthur MasseiVery convenient location. In my view, it has considerable advantage vs more traditional hotels in downtown Manhattan. Better air, much less noise at night and great views. Transportation to Manhattan is very reliable and quick, including by boat. The local restaurant is quite good, but could be crowded and slow for breakfast. The place has a general feeling of being very new, fresh and bright.
Mar 11, 2025 · Lev FrAbsolutely loved my stay at Hyatt House! The front desk was amazing and even upgraded my room—such a great surprise! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the experience even better. My room was huge, spotless, and super comfortable. Plus, the location is perfect, with great food and walkable spots right outside. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!
Feb 23, 2025 · Neveen FahmyIf you’re considering booking this hotel, you MUST read my review first. We originally booked a three-night stay here, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. For the first two nights, there was no hot water. We reported the issue to the hotel on the first day, but their response was completely dismissive. They told us that all rooms had the same problem and that nothing could be done until the manager was available the next day. Well, the second night came, and there was still no hot water! By this point, we were beyond frustrated, but the hotel staff continued to brush us off with the same indifferent attitude. Imagine walking around New York all day, exhausted, only to come back to a hotel where you can’t even take a hot shower! On the morning of the third day, we demanded to speak to the manager and requested compensation. The front desk staff told us the manager was in a meeting and could not speak with us—a meeting that seemed to last forever. Honestly, we believe this was just an excuse to avoid dealing with the issue. Even worse, they outright refused to offer us any refund. Left with no other choice, we had to escalate the issue by calling Hyatt’s corporate office. And it doesn’t stop there—our TV was broken when we checked in, the room cleanliness was mediocre, and the A/C panel didn’t work, meaning we couldn’t even see the temperature settings. The only thing this hotel seems to care about is their rooftop bar—everything else is completely neglected. This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The staff do not care about their guests and will come up with every excuse possible instead of actually solving problems. Staying here completely ruined what was supposed to be a wonderful trip to New York. I am not someone who leaves bad reviews easily, but this time, I am genuinely disappointed. Please, trust me, Avoid this hotel at all costs!
