Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Disappointing Stay — Not Up to Marriott Standards Our stay at the Marriott O’Hare Suites was unfortunately disappointing. We specifically chose this hotel because, during our reservation, we were assured that a crib would be available for our child upon arrival. What was provided instead was a basic Pack and Play with no mattress—just a thin, hard insert at the bottom. This isn’t a safe or suitable substitute for a crib, and we had to improvise just to make it somewhat usable. Any parent knows there’s a big difference between a Pack and Play and a proper crib, and we were completely caught off guard. We also requested extra pillows from the front desk. While I was grabbing ice, I ran into the staff member in the hallway holding pillows. I asked if they were for our room, as we had just made the request, and he dismissively said they were going across the hall. He seemed annoyed and ended up taking the pillows back downstairs. We never received them. The breakfast buffet was equally underwhelming. I had to walk into the back to grab a highchair myself, flag down a server just to get noticed, and take silverware from another table because no one brought any to us. It was not the level of service or experience we expected from a Marriott. Overall, the stay was just okay at best—but with these missteps, I can’t say we’ll be returning or recommending this location to other families.
For many Illinois residents, a trip to Chicago—whether for an early flight out of O’Hare or to attend a conference in Rosemont—calls for a convenient and reliable place to stay. The Chicago Marriott Suites O'Hare is a destination that positions itself as an all-suite hotel designed to meet these specific needs. Located in the bustling suburb of Rosemont, this hotel caters to travelers who appreciate the extra space and amenities of a suite, offering a more comfortable and home-like experience than a traditional hotel room. It's a pragmatic choice for the traveler who needs a clean, functional base of operations with the added benefit of a separate living area.
The hotel’s reputation, like many in a high-traffic airport area, is built on its ability to provide a solid, no-frills service. A guest review describes the rooms as "well maintained with cleanliness" and highlights the convenience of having a "spacious fridge and microwave in room." This speaks to the hotel’s focus on providing a practical, value-oriented stay. While some visitors might encounter service missteps, which can happen at any establishment, the core value proposition of an all-suite, conveniently located hotel remains intact. This article aims to provide a clear, factual overview of what the Chicago Marriott Suites O'Hare offers, based on available public data and traveler feedback, helping Illinois residents determine if it's the right choice for their next visit to the Chicago area.

This allows guests to attend events or explore the city's famous attractions without the hassle of driving and finding expensive parking in the Loop. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service, which runs at scheduled times to and from O'Hare, making it an excellent choice for those with early morning or late-night flights. Beyond the airport, the hotel is also conveniently located near some of Rosemont's most popular destinations, including the Donald E. Jun 25, 2025 · Roaring FlooringThe hotel near the airport with nice suites. Rooms are well maintained with cleaniness. Convenient with spacious fridge and microwave in room. Lobby is chill and relaxing with mini store stuff such as eateries. Fitness in on 1st(lobby) floor, not fully equiped while good enough for light exercise.
Jul 11, 2025 · Jihun Sung (知勳)Rooms are very nice and clean. But the Staff is amazing. Marriott accommodates you and all of your needs, I had two reservations, and they let me rebook the same room, instead of having to make me move. Love this place ❤️
May 16, 2025 · Rebecca CollinsGreat service from the staff, delicious breakfast, room was clean…but a few of this particular Marriott hotel’s design flaws turned our stay from comfortable to annoying. There are so many bright lights on the ceiling and around the room, located so that when it’s dark in the room it isn’t possible to lie in any direction without one shining in your face. And who thought pocket doors on the bathroom were a good idea? Impossible to roll them closed in the night without waking everyone, and if you leave them hanging closed, they bump and clunk when the air comes on. Couple that noise with the gurgling mini fridge, and then add the smell of someone’s pungent drug use wafting into the room from either the vent or the hallway…just an all around annoying night with very little sleep for my family.
Jun 05, 2025 · Nicole HarperPositives: Great location. Convenient parking. Friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Overall clean. Negatives: - Mattresses are very soft and uncomfortable. - pull out sofa is just terrible. You feel the springs on your spine. Asked for a replacement. They refused. Have us extra blankets instead. - no fan in the bathroom. Steam and smell lingers in the room. - room’s bathroom slider room won’t lock and extremely noisy. You wake up everyone when opening the door - the bathroom sink drain issues
