This review is well overdue, but it's worth a few words. My friend and I stayed here back in 2019 for a Stargate convention. The event was great, and so was the hotel. The hotel itself is in a good location, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and my room was quite nice with a good view. I haven't been back since, but if they opportunity over came up, I would very much like to return.

This hotel has 10 star rooms and some of the most comfortable beds you’ll find in airport hotels. Clean, modern and comfortable. They have a reliable shuttle. Front desk staff are a hit or a miss. Bar, although I have not tried their food, seemed crowded each time I stayed there. But there are restaurants next door or within a short Uber ride. You are not downtown Chicago but you are also not on the side of a highway. I always get a great sleep at this hotel.

We paid to park our vehicle here and took their shuttle to O’Hare, arrival day shuttle service was great, however the parking lot that we pre paid for, was completely full, and there were numerous cars trying to find spots for nearly half an hour before we were able to find one. Luckily we didn’t miss our flight due to them over selling their parking lot. When we returned, our flight landed just before 5am, we were outside at the shuttle pickup by 5:20am. We waited until 5:40, then called the hotel to check and see if the shuttle was in service. They told us at 5:40 that the shuttle had just left and would be there soon. 6am rolls around and still no shuttle, we call again and are told they have two shuttles in rotation and that we must not be in the right zone. Another woman waiting with us was waiting for over an hour. No apologies from them, only them insisting the shuttles were out and about (they weren’t.) Then, when we FINALLY were leaving their parking lot at 6:31am, we were charged an additional $35, to what we can only assume was charged because we left one minute past our prepaid exit time, which wouldn’t have happened had the shuttle not made us wait over 40 minutes when they’re supposedly on a 20 minute rotation. Shuttle driver was very kind and polite so he gets a star but overall terrible experience in terms of utilizing their pay and park services in regards to airport travel, and their communication and hospitality when trying to get information.

Check in was fairly simple. Getting to the room, it was what was requested, we’d like to have switched to a 2QN but it would have been $2,501 for 3 nights which is absurd. The next morning using the bathroom sink, I noticed water was spraying underneath. I immediately went to the front desk and informed Glenda, she noted that maintenance would be to the room. It was never fixed, the remainder of the stay, it would leak. At the same time, my friend found out that the system locked her out of her room overnight because she had two separate reservations, Glenda switched everything over and noted that upon check out she could use her e-gift card for $250. Fast forward to check out, Glenda is working the desk, she goes to check out, now she can’t use the e-gift card because the room was “pre-paid”, unfortunately Glenda was supposed to switch credit cards and did not do so during check-in. While they’re trying to figure that out, I had Sarah, the manager helping me, and my credit was applied right away. My friend is still with Glenda and Glenda looks around my friend and asks the next person in line what she could help them with. I address Sarah and tell her that’s unacceptable, Glenda just ignored the customer she was dealing with for the person behind her. Sarah then says, “I can not speak to a situation I didn’t witness”. Sarah seems too timid and shy to be a manager, her employee needed to be corrected. After listening to Glenda and the gentleman she took instead of helping my friend, she offered him a discount because his stay was inconvenienced. All staff and management should be on one accord and retraining is definitely needed. Also, the parking is ridiculous, it took us 40 minutes to get out of the parking lot given the end of the convention and everyone leaving at once.

Didn't stay here, just parked. Booked through airportparkingreservations.com. When we arrive it was easy to find a spot, and the barcode that was emailed worked perfectly. Great location to avoid the city traffic but be close to the airport. Taking us to the airport, we had a wonderful driver who asked us about our travels, and shared his own experiences. So helpful and laid back too. On our return trip, we only had to wait about 5 minutes to see the shuttle. That driver was also efficient and helpful. We'll be using this service anytime we fly out of O'Hare from now on. I'll also be recommending the same to others. Such a great experience to a usually stressful part of travel.
