Pros...awesome breakfast ! Lots of variety each day. Chocolate chips for the waffles...yes please! Peppers to add to the eggs ( no thank you but some will appreciate it ) Lots of condiments like hot sauce , different kinds of jelly, even mayo ( who uses mayo with breakfast foods? ) We made PBJ sandwiches to take to the park each day. Location was excellent . We didn't need a fantastic view because we went to the park for that, but still there was a view of the Skybridge and it was cool at night to see. Nearest attraction was Ripley's Believe it or Not. It was great to not pay to park and be able to walk to the aquarium, Anekesta and all the fun shops. Rooms were fine and clean Free cookies at the front desk was a nice perk ! Staff was friendly Cons - we were told if we didn't ask for housecleaning on the 3rd day they would automatically come and give new towels , etc. They never did. We asked for towels at the front desk mid stay instead. The hairdryer was nasty. It was like the rubber on the outside was breakimg down or something and it was sticky. No way to clean the lint trap either so it blew very hot. Asked on day one but never got a new dryer . We didn't ask again tho and just wrapped a tissue around the handle . Overall though it was a great little hotel if you don't need the frills

Jun 11, 2025 · celeste badeauxYou want the good news, or the bad news first? Okay, we'll end on a positive note, so let's start with a couple of issues/problems. The room to which we were assigned had a musky smell reminiscent of a damp bagged vacuum that permeated the space. Everything appeared very clean, but the odor was noticeable enough to be unpleasant. Additionally, the shower/faucet transfer mechanism wasn't working properly, so there was not enough water pressure up top for a shower! We typically iron a few pieces of clothes whenever we are staying for 2 or more days somewhere, but the iron heated briefly and leaked water all over the ironing board! That's the bad news. Now the good/better news. Upon being notified of each problem, the staff were very responsive, and immediately corrected the issues! Someone came in with air freshening deodorizing spray and tried to resolve the odor. We ended up getting a bottle of Febreze ourselves and tackled the problem more aggressively, but the point is..they heard our complaint and attempted to remedy the situation. Concerning the leaky iron, the front desk had someone bring us a brand new iron within about 5 minutes, and ask if we had any garment damage from the broken iron. Problem solved. When we informed them of the shower malfunction, they maintenance people fix it while we were out for a couple of hours, so that upon our return to the room, the shower issue had been taken care of! Worked like a charm. Every problem may not always be preventable, but when management responds to your concerns with promptness and resolution, that helps mitigate an unpleasant experience. Kudos to the effort at customer service.
May 01, 2025 · Roger CappsI was in town with family to see the aquarium and we stayed here for two nights. I'd say the best thing about this place was the location within walking distance to the aquarium. The rest is average at best, the place looks dated, the rooms are just ok nothing stands out, cleanliness is okay. On the day we arrived the elevator was out, the gym is being renovated according to the sign on the door but it looks more like a storage area. The pool, well it was hard to tell if it is under renovation or just looks in poor conditions. The breakfast is like any other, it would be best if they just did not offer it, otherwise I have to rate it and I would say it is school cafeteria quality. I stayed here on a Tuesday and Wednesday night, I would say the first night was priced according to the "hotel" offerings. the second night I thought was overpriced. If you are on a budget and want to be in town this may be Ok. Would I stay there again? No.
Apr 09, 2025 · Fredo CThe location was amazing, however the fridge in the room was out, the entire time we were there, we had staff in our room working on something. The television was outdated and kept losing signal. The drive was exhausting but wanted to visit for Spring break to relax and hang in the arcade. We were given the worse room 415, no balcony space at all. The air conditioner did not work, thank goodness we were able to open the door. This was one of the worst stays I have had in Gatlinburg as far as the room. However the staff were kind.
