I was extremely disappointed with my stay, especially considering I paid $1,000. The floors were dirty, the elevator doors looked unclean and neglected, and the internet connection was terrible. To make matters worse, I found a large ant on my bed, stains on the comforter, and the mattress was in questionable condition. The customer service was equally underwhelming. While I was waiting to get change for the washer and dryer, I observed a staff member greet a guest with nothing more than “ID and credit card,” without so much as a “hello” or a smile. I couldn’t help but speak up — basic courtesy should be standard. I would not recommend this location to anyone. It fell far below expectations in cleanliness, hospitality, and overall experience.

Courtyard Boston Logan Airport Introduce

The Courtyard Boston Logan Airport, located at 225 William F McClellan Hwy, Boston, MA 02128, is a Marriott-branded hotel frequently sought after by travelers looking for accommodation in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, particularly those with connections to Boston Logan International Airport. While it offers essential amenities and a highly convenient location, recent guest experiences suggest a mixed perception regarding its overall quality and value.

The environment of the Courtyard Boston Logan Airport is primarily functional, designed to cater to the transient needs of airport travelers. Its location on William F McClellan Highway places it in East Boston, a short distance from Logan International Airport (approximately 2.8 miles). This proximity is a major advantage, allowing for quick transfers. The hotel generally aims for a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere, characteristic of the Courtyard by Marriott brand. It features a lobby with a fireplace and a common area, potentially offering a space for guests to relax. However, recent reviews indicate that the physical environment, particularly in terms of cleanliness, may not always meet expectations. One guest explicitly mentioned "dirty floors," "unclean and neglected elevator doors," and even a "large ant on my bed," along with "stains on the comforter" and a "mattress in questionable condition." Another frequent guest echoed these sentiments, stating that "the rooms are old" and expressing disappointment with the "state of housekeeping," even encountering a "Ruben sandwich on my bed" upon check-in. This suggests that while the hotel may aim for a modern aesthetic, the execution of cleanliness and maintenance in guest rooms has been inconsistent. Despite these issues, the hotel's location offers easy access to downtown Boston, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, with public transportation (Blue Line subway) accessible via the shuttle.

The services at Courtyard Boston Logan Airport are largely centered around facilitating airport travel. A key offering is the complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle service, which runs on request, providing convenient transportation to and from the airport terminals. This service is a significant draw for guests. For dining, the hotel features Brinkley's Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Brinkley's Pub, a bar/lounge area. There is also a snack bar/deli and coffee/tea in common areas. However, information about complimentary breakfast is not explicitly stated in the provided reviews, and external sources indicate that cooked-to-order breakfast is available for a fee (ranging from $8 to $25 per person). Guest experiences with customer service have been varied. While one loyal guest stated, "Staff are wonderful" and praised the "wonderful" bar staff who are "sisters who have been here for a while," another review expressed extreme disappointment, observing a staff member greeting a guest with only "ID and credit card," lacking "basic courtesy." This suggests inconsistency in front desk interactions, despite positive experiences with other staff members. Other available services include free in-room and public area Wi-Fi (though one guest reported a "terrible internet connection"), a 24-hour fitness center, an indoor pool, a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Self-parking is available on-site for a daily fee of approximately $30.

Key features of the Courtyard Boston Logan Airport aim for a comfortable stay. The hotel has 351 well-appointed rooms, including standard guest rooms and one-bedroom two-room suites. Rooms are typically equipped with air conditioning, 50-inch flat-screen TVs with premium cable channels and Netflix, safes, desks, coffee/tea makers, mini-fridges, and private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Blackout drapes/curtains are provided for light control. While these amenities are standard, the recurring feedback about "old" rooms and questionable mattress condition indicates that some aspects may be in need of renovation or more rigorous quality control. The indoor pool offers a recreational amenity, and the 24-hour fitness center provides opportunities for guests to maintain their workout routines. The hotel also features a garden area and a shared lounge/TV area. For business travelers, there are three meeting rooms with a total event space of 2,005 sq ft, catering to small to medium-sized events. The hotel is pet-friendly, though charges may apply. Accessibility features are available, including wheelchair-accessible paths, parking, and specific room types with accessible amenities. The hotel was built in 1972, and while some refurbishments have reportedly taken place, the guest reviews suggest that the age of the property might be showing in certain areas.

From a promotional standpoint, Courtyard Boston Logan Airport primarily markets its unbeatable location and convenience for airport travelers. For those actively searching "Hotels Near Of Me" with airport access, the complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle is a strong selling point. The Marriott brand name generally instills a level of trust and expectation of quality. The hotel can highlight its on-site dining options and recreational facilities like the indoor pool and fitness center as added benefits. However, to maintain and improve its reputation, it would be crucial for the hotel to address the consistent feedback regarding cleanliness and the condition of the rooms. Promotional messaging should ideally focus on the positive aspects consistently praised, such as the efficiency of the shuttle service and the friendliness of specific staff members. While the price point of $1,000 mentioned by one guest seems exceptionally high for a Courtyard and might be an outlier, the hotel needs to ensure that the value offered aligns with its pricing. The hotel could potentially offer promotions or packages that specifically address concerns raised by guests, such as guaranteed recently renovated rooms or special discounts for long-term loyal guests to acknowledge their continued patronage. Ultimately, the Courtyard Boston Logan Airport is a practical choice for its proximity and core services, but guests should be prepared for a potentially mixed experience, particularly regarding room condition and certain aspects of service.

Today I checked in and I had called and stopped by the front desk to ensure one of the ground floor rooms was reserved. Upon arrival they gave me 304 and told me it was now unavailable. I got into my room and found a Ruben sandwich on my bed!! I stay 40+ nights last year in this hotel and plan to stay 40+ this year. Staff are wonderful but the rooms are old. The bar staff are also wonderful and they are sisters who have been here for a while. It’s a real shame about the rooms and state of housekeeping.

It's dated. In-room coffee machines are not very good...theyre the standard every low-end Marriott or Hilton will have. The people working there are great! There is a good restaurant and I had really good food there. Close to the airport! Far from anything else unless you're driving. Flight crew: Ok, for a min rest, not much around for a layover unless you have a car or are content with ubereats, etc.

The room big, spacious & had a great view of the water, the bridge. Plenty of hot water, front desk was top notch. But, what really blew my stay away was hope friendly & considerate the maid service was asking if I needed anything on 3 different occasions. That’s what I call service, top notch service. The pub downstairs also had great late night food as well. I highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott near Boston Logan Airport.

I've stayed here many times over the past 5 years. This visit was subpar. They now charge $30 a night to park, neither computer was working to print boarding passes, and breakfast prices are very high for what you get. Friendly staff. Rooms are starting to get beat up. Filter in heater/ac unit hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Broken wall in bathroom. Nothing major but will definitely consider alternatives moving forward.
