DO NOT STAY HERE. I have stayed here twice in the past 3 months and had a good experience until this past time. I accidentally made the reservation for the day of my flight instead of the day before, which was my mistake. I called and asked to cancel the room. Then I made a reservation for the correct day. I received a confirmation for the correct day, an email for the upcoming stay and also a check in email and received nothing for the wrong day, which I assumed was cancelled. Then I got an email late in the day to check in on the wrong date. I called - again - to cancel and was told I needed to talk to a manager, which the front desk person told me he would do for me and to come tot he desk when I checked in. I again followed instructions and went to the desk and was assured that it was cancelled. Then, I get a $100 charge for incidentals and $492 charge for the room as a “no show”. I’ve called now 2 more times to get it refunded and just keep being told that I can call a different number, wait 2 days until the manager comes in or cal corporate. Essentially after over an hour of my vacation being wasted, I ended up having to call my credit card company to get them involved. It’s a nice hotel and very convenient but not worth this hassle. Be aware.
For travelers seeking spacious accommodations and convenient access to Boston Logan International Airport, Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston at Logan Airport, located at 207 Porter St, Boston, MA 02128, is a highly visible and frequently chosen option within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category. This all-suite hotel, part of the reputable Hilton brand, is designed to offer a comfortable and amenity-rich experience, whether for a quick overnight stay before a flight or a longer visit to explore the vibrant city of Boston.
The environment at Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston at Logan Airport is characterized by its modern design and focus on guest comfort. As an all-suite hotel, it provides more space than a typical hotel room, often featuring a separate living area and bedroom, which is a significant advantage for families or guests desiring more room to spread out. The hotel's interior is generally well-maintained, though some guest feedback suggests that certain aspects, such as mattresses and pillows, might be "a bit dated" or "bottom tier for hotel standards." Despite this, rooms are consistently described as "well kept and soundproofed from the outside noise," which is crucial given its proximity to a busy airport. The hotel's location is exceptionally convenient; it is directly connected to Boston Logan Airport terminals A and E via a covered walkway, and a free 24-hour shuttle service covers all terminals, the subway, water taxi, and car rentals. This ease of access to transportation hubs significantly enhances the guest experience, allowing seamless travel to and from the airport and into downtown Boston. The hotel is also a short walk (approximately 7-minute walk) to the MBTA Blue Line Airport Station, which can take guests to downtown Boston attractions like Faneuil Hall Marketplace in about 10 minutes. This combination of airport proximity and public transport accessibility makes it an ideal base for both business and leisure travelers.
The services at Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston at Logan Airport are a cornerstone of the brand's appeal. A major highlight is the complimentary, cooked-to-order breakfast, a signature offering that provides guests with a fresh and substantial start to their day. While one review noted that the breakfast buffet doors were closed early, prompting a suggestion to "have more foresight," the availability of a hot breakfast is generally a significant value add. Another highly praised service is the nightly Evening Reception, where guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, including non-alcoholic drinks, providing a relaxing social opportunity. The hotel offers a free 24-hour airport shuttle service, which is consistently lauded for its convenience and punctuality. For those with vehicles, valet parking is available. However, guests should be aware of the cost, as one review explicitly states, "the $60 a night valet fee, which is on the heavy side and kind of an hidden fee," and mentions there are "no parking spaces in the area" for self-parking. This suggests that valet parking may be the only on-site option for personal vehicles and can significantly add to the overall cost. Other services include an indoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, meeting and event facilities, concierge services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. The staff generally receive positive remarks, with guests describing them as "very kind and courteous" and appreciative of their follow-through in resolving issues, as indicated by a resolved double-charging incident.

The soundproofing of the rooms is a highly valued feature, ensuring a quiet stay despite the airport location. While some reviews mentioned that the "mattress and pillows are bottom tier for hotel standards," the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms contribute to a comfortable stay. The hotel also boasts an inviting atrium, a common feature of Embassy Suites, often providing a spacious and airy environment. For recreation, the indoor pool and fitness center are popular amenities. The hotel also provides a full-service bar and restaurant, Porter Bar and Grill, for dining options beyond breakfast and the evening reception. The all-suite configuration is a major draw for guests desiring more space and a home-like feel. While the issue of costly valet parking and occasional reservation complexities (as detailed in one review) are considerations for potential guests, the hotel's strong brand reputation, combined with generally positive feedback regarding staff friendliness and service recovery, helps to mitigate these concerns. The hotel can promote itself as a convenient, comfortable, and value-packed option for airport travelers and those exploring Boston, offering a reliable and established choice within the Hilton portfolio. The positive "update" on a double-charging issue suggests that the hotel actively works to resolve guest concerns, which can be a strong trust-building factor in its promotional messaging.

May 12, 2025 · Kara LearyWe had a one night stay at the Embassy suites. I’ll start right away with saying the staff was very kind and courteous. The rooms were well kept and soundproofed from the outside noise but also are a bit dated and the mattress and pillows are bottom tier for hotel standards. The no parking spaces in the area obliged us to take the 60$ a night valet fee, which is on the heavy side and kind of an hidden fee. Secondly, we were doubled charged on our room since we made the reservation via third party reservation website. It’s been almost two months since, have called multiple times. ***UPDATE : The issue was resolved. Thanks for the staff that followed through. *** Also of note : The included breakfast ends at 10am and is in a separate room. We went down in the lobby at about 9:50 and the doors to the breakfast buffet section were already closed by the staff. I'd suggest to have more foresight than us.
May 13, 2025 · Alexandre CaronStayed for a quick 3 day getaway to Boston. I also love the Embassy Suites brand and this place did not disappoint. I flew in early and had no issues with them storing my baggage while I went and explored the city. They even gave me a room upgrade. The room was great but not much of a view, and I did not love heavy metal security doors to the bathroom. The power also went out twice which would have been inconvenient if I was in the shower or something. Breakfast was great everyday, staff were all great, and bartenders were friendly. There are not a whole lot of food options in the immediate area of the hotel, but between a 5 minute walk and 10 minute subway ride you can be almost anywhere in Boston you want to go. I will definitely stay here when I return to Boston.
Apr 19, 2025 · Jeff HammillA short walk from the train, the T, this hotel is in a quiet part of town, but super accessible to everything else. We were visiting to tour MIT and explore Boston. We loved staying at this hotel and would most certainly consider it when returning. We truly had no complaints, whatsoever. The staff greeted us amicably, explained everything in great detail. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with made-to-order -omelets, eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruits, yogurts, cereals, oatmeal, etc. They also offer (and we really enjoyed) an evening reception, which offers fruit, mixed nuts, assorted snacks, chips and salsa, and drinks. Finally, the hotel also offer a shuttle to and from the airport which ran every 15m the few days we were there. There are also shuttle a short walk away to the airport, at the T, we found out. 5/5 stars. It was wonderful!
Mar 01, 2025 · Kim MI really loved this hotel. I was concerned at first because it is definitely older and some of the furniture probably should be replaced (quite a few nicks and a little beat up with the desks/drawers/dresser), but the bed/mattress and linens were wonderful!! What really stood out also was what a great job housekeeping does with cleaning. I'm really picky and wipe things down myself, and everything was super clean. Staff is mostly pretty friendly, although one woman at the front desk was pretty abrupt when I asked for an extra blanket in addition to the one in the closet. The most friendly and nicest staff member I dealt with said her name was Ariella (I believe). She was wonderful in answering questions and super helpful! The airport shuttle was efficient and great. The location is about an 8 minute walk to the airport T station, so pretty easy to get places without a car. Breakfast and the evening snacks were both really good as well. Also, the TV with streaming and being able to control it from your phone with the app was really nice.
