I’m genuinely confused about some of the one-star ratings I read from the last few weeks/months. The descriptions absolutely do NOT match up with reality. I guess I could chalk it up to perceptive differences, but it was such a gross representation of this property I was left thinking “yeah, someone is looking for free nights or something from Hyatt to take this review down.” That’s a thing. Anyway - my husband and I love this property. Very nice. Not perfect but very, very nice. After returning from Europe for a few weeks, the extra large King harbor view room was very refreshing to come home to. We needed something close to the airport for just a quick layover overnight before proceeding onto our home destination and this was very convenient. Ironically, the noise from the airport we never heard and our room was right next to one of the landing strips. The view from the hotel of the Boston Harbor is unmatched and a million view for sure. The restaurant we had dinner at in the hotel and breakfast was definitely five star food. Maybe we got lucky? The staff has been impeccably polite and helpful from the young man who picked us up at the airport, the porter who carried our bags to our room and the front desk service. I am overall a pretty loyal patron of Hyatt properties, but this one is an especially good one.

Apr 24, 2025 · Connie ChadwickThe Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor is an absolute gem! The standout feature is easily the stunning waterfront view—you get an unbeatable look at the Boston skyline, especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset. The rooms are modern, clean, and super comfortable, and many offer that same amazing view. The staff is warm, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. The location is perfect if you're flying in or out of Logan, and the water taxi access to downtown adds a fun, scenic twist to your stay. It’s peaceful, convenient, and classy—definitely my go-to spot when staying in Boston.
Apr 28, 2025 · KC MDNice hotel. The rental car garage is a short, scenic, walk away, the complimentary shuttle makes getting to the airport easy, and the water taxi to cross the harbor docks right outside the hotel. The hotel itself is nice enough, even if it's a little dated. And my room was comfortable.
Apr 25, 2025 · Chad WorshamStaff made the stay remarkable - there for a two day overnight work conference and we stayed in at the lobby bar after our event. Conference room view of the harbor was awesome. The hotel rooms were a bit worn and beds firmer than my preference but would absolutely stay again for the convenience and awesome people!
Apr 07, 2025 · Stephen RuggieroThe most egregious issue with this hotel is the terrible food poisoning I got--and several of my colleagues and meeting attendees. Food safety seems to be on a toboggan run of failure lately and this hotel obviously is a part of that trend. And the food at the hotel is meh at best. The rooms are fine except there is no desk or work chair. This is baffling to me given this is a business-related hotel with conference space. Public spaces on the first floor, including the restaurant, were exceptionally cold. I like it cold but this was too much. The location of this hotel is conveniently close to the airport, but it's definitely not worth sacrificing the ability to walk to stores or restaurants in a city location. This place would only be a good option if your flight was canceled and you had to stay overnight. Otherwise choose higher. Cheers.
