My stay at Courtyard Marriott was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The room was extremely dusty, and since I have a dust allergy, it became unbearable—I even started having nosebleeds due to the poor air quality. On top of that, the room was old, had a weird smell, and was far from comfortable. There was no room service at all. I was given only two cups for coffee, and they were supposed to last for two days because restocking only happens every other day. With my hectic schedule, not having coffee when needed was frustrating. The staff was lazy and unhelpful. If you have a package, don’t expect them to bring it to your room—you’ll have to pick it up yourself. I stayed on the second floor, and the vibrations from people walking on the third floor made it impossible to rest. For the price I paid, this was an absolute rip-off. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Also stop in to the bistro in the lobby and talk with Matt he makes the best wings in the louisville area. We ate supper 2 nights in the bistro because it was so good. This will be the hotel I stay at in the future. THANKS

Apr 16, 2025 · Steve DavisThe rooms here are beautiful, clean, and have a perfect relaxing vibe if you ever need some time away or a few days to yourself, or on business this would be a great hotel. The housekeepers do a wonderful job. Although unfortunately, a couple downsides I must mention is the messiness from construction and renovation, and the fact I had a very negative experience checking into my reservation with a manager named Brittany. Her attitude is extremely condescending, demeaning, and made me very uncomfortable. I usually get a “Thanks for being a Gold elite member” at check-in’s, for being part of the loyalty program, but not from her. Not sure what exactly her negativity stems from, rather she was just stressed or is a judgmental person overall, her coldness is by far enough for me to never feel welcome going back to this hotel. She told me several times “This is not an extended stay hotel” as if I wasn’t aware of that already… I was staying for only 3 days. I didn’t know you can only stay 1 day at a time at hotels apparently if they’re not extended stays. I’d recommend any other Courtyard locations over this one.

I ALWAYS book Marriott but after my conversation with the GE DAMIEN and how it was all my fault and he cannot help me in any way with refunding my 4 day stay that I never made it to because of flight issues. I informed DAMIEN that I will never book a Marriott again and he said he didnt care because he is only manager one of this one. He doesnt care that he's making ALL OF MARRIOTT lose money. DAMIEN the GE of this Marriott is the worst customer service person I have ever talked to in my life and he lives up to his name. Please if you have any sense do not book here because THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU!
