There was persistent screaming in neighboring rooms with paper thin walls. Called security many nights for child safety!!! The kitchen being stocked was nice, if it didn't reek and have mold everywhere (including in the kettle!!) I only wrote a good review because the management paid for it. They are not honest, the mold is through the whole hotel from floor 2 to 20 (we checked). Dog owners do not clean up after the feces or urine, leaving it to stink up the entire floor and outdoor park
When searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Atlantic City, NJ, you might encounter CozySuites Atlantic City, located at 810 Pacific Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, USA. As a listing on platforms that cater to localized accommodation searches, it aims to present itself as a viable option for travelers. However, an objective introduction based on available public information reveals significant and widespread concerns that prospective guests should be fully aware of before considering a stay. The "Hotels Near Of Me" category implies immediate availability and relevant services; therefore, it is crucial to present a clear picture of what services and experiences guests might actually encounter at this particular establishment.
The environment at CozySuites Atlantic City is described in highly negative terms by multiple reviewers. Rather than offering a peaceful or pleasant atmosphere, the environment is characterized by a pervasive lack of cleanliness and significant noise disturbances. Guests report "persistent screaming in neighboring rooms with paper thin walls," leading to calls to security for "child safety." This indicates a severe issue with sound insulation and potentially with guest behavior management. Furthermore, the overall cleanliness is a major concern, with descriptions of kitchens "reek and have mold everywhere (including in the kettle!!)." One review even states that "the mold is through the whole hotel from floor 2 to 20 (we checked)," painting a grim picture of pervasive unsanitary conditions. For pet owners, there are additional complaints about "Dog owners do not clean up after the feces or urine, leaving it to stink up the entire floor and outdoor park." This suggests a general disregard for hygiene and maintenance across the property, significantly detracting from any positive environmental aspects and potentially posing health concerns. This information directly contradicts any expectation of a clean or comfortable environment that a traveler might have when searching for "Hotels Near Of Me."
The services at CozySuites Atlantic City appear to be severely lacking, with multiple accounts detailing unprofessional conduct and a distinct absence of customer support. Despite the presence of what might be perceived as standard hotel services, their execution is highly problematic. Reviews suggest that calling security for noise issues was a frequent necessity, indicating a reactive rather than proactive approach to guest comfort and safety. A particularly concerning aspect of the service relates to the booking and refund process. One reviewer describes a situation where money was "taken upfront, including a security deposit, only to cancel my reservation after the fact without giving me a fair opportunity to verify anything." This was compounded by claims of a "system" flagging a "red flag" with payment, yet "no actual review or attempt to resolve the issue was made, and I was never contacted for verification before being denied service." The lack of communication, "automated excuses, inconsistent reasoning, and no resolution" when seeking accountability, along with being told to "wait days for a refund—all while offering no help securing new accommodations," indicates a profound failure in basic customer service and ethical business practices. The allegation of "management paid for" positive reviews further damages trust in the integrity of any positive service claims.
The features of CozySuites Atlantic City, while attempting to offer amenities, are undermined by the reported conditions. The mention of "the kitchen being stocked was nice" implies that rooms are equipped with kitchenettes, which could be a useful feature for extended stays or self-catering. However, this feature is immediately negated by the presence of mold and foul odors. While individual rooms might offer elements like beds, the overwhelming feedback points to a compromised experience due to pervasive issues. The hotel's pet-friendly policy, while a feature that appeals to some travelers, is marred by reports of pet waste not being cleaned up, leading to unsanitary conditions in common areas and an unpleasant "stink up the entire floor and outdoor park." This indicates a severe lack of enforcement or maintenance of pet policies. Beyond these, no other specific positive features are highlighted. The critical issues with cleanliness, security (implied by persistent noise and child safety concerns), and room integrity (due to mold) suggest that even basic features cannot be reliably enjoyed or trusted. The absence of a functioning and pleasant environment, combined with the severe issues in service, mean that any intended features are overshadowed by significant operational failures.
In terms of promotional information, based on the provided reviews, any promotional material for CozySuites Atlantic City would need to be viewed with extreme caution by potential guests. The reviews explicitly state that "management paid for" good reviews, casting serious doubt on the authenticity of any positive endorsements or advertising. While a hotel in Atlantic City might promote its proximity to the boardwalk, casinos, or other attractions, the reported internal conditions and service failures would likely overshadow any locational benefits. The core message from past customers is a strong "I do not recommend booking with this hotel or platform," and a warning that travelers "may be left stranded." The mention of reporting the hotel to the FTC and disputing charges with banks further indicates a highly problematic and potentially unethical operational approach. Therefore, for local users searching "Hotels Near Of Me," while CozySuites Atlantic City may appear in search results, the objective information from past guests strongly advises against booking due to severe and consistent issues with cleanliness, noise, pet management, and booking/refund practices. Any promotional claims should be scrutinized heavily against the overwhelming negative experiences reported by actual customers.

May 04, 2025 · Joseph CarragherI do not recommend booking with this hotel or platform. They took my money upfront, including a security deposit, only to cancel my reservation after the fact without giving me a fair opportunity to verify anything. They claimed their “system” flagged a red flag with my payment method, yet no actual review or attempt to resolve the issue was made, and I was never contacted for verification before being denied service. What makes this worse is that the payment was processed and accepted—they held onto my funds and only then decided to cancel my booking based on vague internal criteria, offering no details or explanation. This is a completely unprofessional and disruptive experience, especially for travelers who rely on confirmed accommodations. I asked for accountability, and instead got automated excuses, inconsistent reasoning, and no resolution. It’s unacceptable to process someone’s payment, cancel without due process, and then tell them to wait days for a refund—all while offering no help securing new accommodations. If you’re traveling with family or under time constraints, be warned—you may be left stranded like I was. This was not only frustrating but borderline unethical. I’ll be reporting this to the FTC and disputing the charge with my bank.
May 12, 2025 · Chynna McDowellMy stay at Cozy Suits in Atlantic City (October 2024) was excellent. The property is impressively clean and bright with all the amenities you'd expect in a full apartment. I particularly appreciated the spacious layout which made it feel like a home away from home. The convenient location within The Showboat is perfect - easy access to numerous restaurants and casinos within walking distance. If you're looking for accommodation that offers more than just a standard hotel room in Atlantic City, Cozy Suits is definitely worth considering.
