i stayed here last week, it was equivalent to many of the $70/per night run down motels in New Jersey…. except here they charged me $293 for one night, then they also took $100 deposit that i was told would be refunded the next day @ noon…. that never happened so two days later i contacted customer service and asked what happened with the deposit? they told me that by noon that day the funds would be realeased… now its been another two days since that conversation and i just contacted customer support again… the guy told me he would help me out and then hung up on me abruptly, so i figured maybe it was an accident, but i tried calling the same number again twice but someone is just answering the call and not responding….. then they hang up…..?????? wheres my security deposit? and what is going on with customer service??
For individuals and travelers searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with a keen eye on budget, the Red Carpet Inn & Suites Atlantic City, NJ, might appear as a potential option. Located at 1104 Pacific Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, USA, this introduction aims to provide a detailed and objective overview of the hotel, drawing from publicly available information and contrasting customer reviews to help potential guests form a realistic understanding of what to expect during their stay. It's crucial to examine both the positive and negative feedback to make an informed decision.
Environment and Location:
The Red Carpet Inn & Suites is situated at 1104 Pacific Ave in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Pacific Avenue is a prominent street in Atlantic City, running parallel to the boardwalk and the ocean. This location generally places the hotel within proximity to various casinos, entertainment venues, and the beach, which are the primary draws of Atlantic City. The immediate environment around the hotel, as is common with many budget accommodations in a vibrant tourist destination, might be characterized by a mix of commercial establishments and other lodgings. While the reviews do not explicitly detail the aesthetic appeal of the surroundings, its position on Pacific Ave suggests a relatively central, urban setting with convenient access to the city's main attractions. For guests who prioritize being close to the action without paying premium boardwalk prices, the location could be a functional choice.
Services and Features:
As a budget-oriented inn and suites, the Red Carpet Inn aims to provide basic lodging services. However, customer experiences regarding these services and features are notably divergent:
Promotional Information and Value Proposition:
The Red Carpet Inn & Suites Atlantic City, NJ, likely positions itself as a budget-friendly option for visitors to Atlantic City. One reviewer explicitly stated, "If you’re on a budget this is the place. It’s nothing fancy there’s definitely worse." This suggests that for some guests, its primary appeal is its low cost relative to other options in Atlantic City, which can be an expensive destination. However, the reported price of $293 for one night, coupled with the issues with the security deposit, strongly contradicts the "budget" image for at least one customer, raising significant questions about pricing transparency and value for money. For direct inquiries, the hotel can be reached at (609) 345-8557 or +1 609-345-8557. As an independent or smaller chain property, it may not participate in a large loyalty program, and specific promotions would need to be inquired about directly. It's crucial for prospective guests to confirm all pricing, including potential deposits, at the time of booking.
Features and Guest Experience:
The guest experience at Red Carpet Inn & Suites Atlantic City, NJ, appears to be highly inconsistent and polarized. One positive experience describes comfortable beds, clean rooms, and accommodating, nice owners, leading to a willingness to "stay here again" for budget travel. This reviewer found it a suitable "no frills" option where "you can't go wrong." However, a severely negative experience highlights a "depressing," "very run down and dirty" environment, issues with non-refundable security deposits, and extremely poor customer service that includes being hung up on. The vast difference in these experiences suggests that the hotel may have significant variability in room conditions or that customer service issues, particularly regarding refunds, are a serious concern. The perception of being overcharged for a subpar room further diminishes the value proposition for some guests. For a traveler needing a truly basic, inexpensive stay, and willing to potentially overlook significant downsides, it might be considered. However, the risks associated with cleanliness, maintenance, and especially the handling of financial matters like deposits, are clearly articulated by dissatisfied guests.
In conclusion, for local users and travelers searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Atlantic City, NJ, with a strict budget, the Red Carpet Inn & Suites Atlantic City, NJ, is presented as an option. However, potential guests should be acutely aware of the highly mixed reviews. While some guests have found it to be a clean, basic, and affordable stay with comfortable beds and nice owners, others have reported severe issues with cleanliness, maintenance, exorbitant pricing for the quality received, and highly problematic security deposit refund processes. It is strongly recommended that prospective guests exercise extreme caution, verify all pricing and deposit policies thoroughly, and perhaps consider alternative options, even if it means spending a little more, to ensure a more reliable and comfortable stay. Direct contact with the hotel for current information is advised, but recent reviews highlight potential difficulties in resolving issues post-stay.

Feb 28, 2025 · chris amatoLocation is incredible and price was great. Older property with small basic rooms but clean and great location with free parking
May 10, 2025 · Eric VanceI mean, what can I say? You pay for what you get. The rooms are not that clean, it needs maintenance, and it has a slight smell. But I mean, if you go in the economic way, this is the place to be. We’re barely in the room so we only get it to go to sleep. It all works out.
Jan 13, 2025 · Alex GarciaI'm leaving behind a 5 star review because I believe you get what you pay for. My significant other and I booked this place for one night while attending a concert at the hard rock casino - only needed a place to sleep. Many places were booked out, or quite expensive - we paid 72$ for a Saturday night. The location could not have been better, a short walk from the casino (hard rock & resorts). Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. I was worried after reading some reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I never took the elevator, so cannot comment on that. Once in the room, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. They provide you with towels (a little worn, but clean) and some basic shower items. The rooms have been somewhat updated, but the walls are still older... hey, for that price, I'm not going to complain! If you want fancy and updated, look somewhere else and pay more. If you go in with appropriate expectations, you may be very pleased!
