Hotel is far from high end and unfortunately while the front desk employee was sweet and polite and did her best, neither her nor the manager billed me correctly. 170$ for one night + 50$ per fee. Currently I’ve been billed $170 for the stay, $50 pet fee TWICE, and somewhere along the lines another charge for 85.97. If you’re looking for breakfast the way cheaper hotels provide for free as part of your stay? Not here. 16$ for buffet style and a menu of other dishes. While speaking to the manager at the front desk they assured me of no other charges being billed as the room was paid in full and the 50$ per fee was settled but yet, I’m billed again for the pet fee and randomly on my statement is a charge for $85.97. Crowne palace has lost my trust and has 0 reason to book another stay with them as even the room itself was no different than a regular cheap hotel. Thermostat in the room only controlled cold air (not helpful in February) carpet itself had some melted plastic near the bed. Closet didn’t even have a door. There’s nothing about this hotel that is luxury outside of the lobby aesthetic. I wouldn’t of left a review but after being assured the payment was done and would not receive further charges, to now see other charges and a double charge, I’m insulted. I could have stayed 5 miles in another direction and had a completely different experience after driving two hours for business.

Feb 20, 2025 · Syid RiveraHere’s the revised version of your review: --- From the outside, the hotel looks quite dated and not particularly welcoming, and this theme carries through to the interiors, with the lobby feeling old and in need of an update. Check-in was quick and efficient, which was a positive start. However, one of the two elevators was out of service during my stay, causing significant delays and inconvenience. The rooms are spacious, including the bathrooms, which was appreciated. However, everything—furniture, fixtures, and amenities—felt extremely outdated. The bed was comfortable, but the TV offered very limited channels and looked like it was from the early 2000s. On a brighter note, the room comes with useful extras like a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and iron. The pool and fitness center were decent and a good option for those looking to relax or get a quick workout in. The lobby also has a small market offering chips, chocolates, and water, which is convenient for grabbing a quick snack. Unfortunately, the breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was disappointing. The selection was minimal and remained the same each day, and the tables and chairs were not particularly clean. The hotel staff were neutral—not the friendliest but not rude either. The location is less than ideal without a car, as nothing is within walking distance. However, there is a nearby bus stop that connects to Manhattan in just over an hour, depending on traffic. Overall, while my stay wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t great either. The hotel has some positives, like the room size, pool, and added amenities, but the dated interiors, breakfast quality, and elevator issues left room for improvement.
Dec 07, 2024 · Faiz KhanStaff was very personable and helpful. Rooms, shower and bath were immaculate. First time here and will surely return. Had surgery earthen next morning after check in.
Apr 10, 2025 · Leslie FriendRoom was OK, service was not. Breakfast buffet was meh. No hot water in the shower, lukewarm at best. Asked to have a late check out, front desk clerk said sure leave at 1pm. They call at 12, telling me to leave and gaslighting me, claiming no front desk clerk told me 1pm. Ok cool, yeah definitely super professional over there. Do not reccomend.
Mar 26, 2025 · H ZebTo think I traveled six hours to visit my mom that just had surgery to later find out the hotel I booked 2 double beds gave me the wrong room with an apology but did nothing to fix their wrong! Horrible.. I asked for them to send up extra blankets and pills for the pull out only to have waited an hour.. and no one show up! I send my husband downstairs an hour later only to find a few employees hanging at the desk but I guess they were too busy to send up what we needed when they messed up! I’m so disappointed by the lack of customer service! Just terrible. On top of that, only one elevator was working!! Ugh! 😩
