I was surprisingly very happy with our room! The hotel look itself and the reviews made me skeptical. But it was GREAT!! We stayed on the backside 1st floor street view, and NEVER heard a vehicle or people. The bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) are super comfy!!! Although there were definitely some imperfections when it comes to looks, I can honestly say it was extremely clean!!! My husband and I will definitely stay again!!

The **Days Inn by Wyndham Gatlinburg On The River** is strategically located at **324 Hemlock St, Gatlinburg, TN 37738, USA**. This address places it directly "on the river," which often means scenic views and a tranquil backdrop, even while being close to the action. Gatlinburg is, of course, one of Tennessee's premier tourist destinations, serving as a popular gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and home to countless shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
A key aspect of its location, as noted by a recent reviewer, is that it's situated "at the very end of the strip." While this offers a degree of separation from the most bustling areas, providing a potentially quieter atmosphere, it also means "a lot of walking from one end to another" if you plan to explore the entire Parkway on foot. However, for those looking to enjoy the immediate vicinity, it's convenient. Being in Gatlinburg, accessibility from major routes like the Parkway (US-441) is straightforward. For Tennesseans driving in from cities like Knoxville, Nashville, or Chattanooga, the drive into Gatlinburg is well-traveled and clearly signposted. The hotel's position makes it a recognizable landmark for navigating the town, and its "on the river" status often appeals to those seeking a picturesque setting.

Jul 14, 2024 · Casey LaneI’m not usually the one to write or waste my time on negative reviews.. but yes this is the cheapest place you can find in gatlinburg on the main strip but it’s at the very end of the strip so a lot of walking from one end to another. The rooms were not kept up. It was dark and gloomy. The view really wasn’t great. It was honestly not worth “going cheaper” and that’s not easy for me to say! I just couldn’t wait to get out of the hotel/motel the whole time I was there. And the “free breakfast” was a joke. The only thing that was out was cereal. And the professionalism of the staff was a sure enough reflection of how I felt about the place. What you see is what you get, and you get what you pay for! 🤷🏼♀️ and this is coming from a girl who use to stay at the super 8 for my spontaneous 2 day beach trips. I mean the worst place I have ever stayed.. it put a damper on the short trip for sure.
Jan 23, 2024 · Erin Drapernot a bad joint to stay. had a nice river view... however that being said the patio door that had the parade and river below didn't shut properly. so instead of having a peaceful rest, all we could hear was traffic and outside noise. the room we stayed in was clean and bright. in the bathroom we had an issue with the light/fan switch. first of all, we are travelers, and we gotta poop, so it would have been nice to have a working fan. looks to me like someone knew there was a problem with the switch and so they attached a fabric hair elastic to sort of .. keep them together.. hard to explain but you will see an attached photo of this. when you touch the switch it shot out electricity and smoke. we reported this to the front desk clerk, and she gave us 30% off discount. not a bad compensation at all. location was great. a quick, and beautiful stroll to downtown where all the action is. i also think its worth mentioning that our room had a view of a roller coaster attraction across the street. that was kind of neat to watch .
Mar 18, 2018 · mel ccGreat value for money! We found this to be the cheapest in the area with a good location, free breakfast (including some hot food), and of good quality. Only complaint is that they don't offer cribs, but we were prepared. They ARE baby-friendly, though, in the fact that they have a high chair in the breakfast area! The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and was especially good with the kids. We really enjoyed our stay, the room with the beautiful river view, and the breakfast!
Dec 03, 2019 · Melinda MuyargasOur room was very clean and reasonably priced. They're updating the facility and it is getting nicer by the day. We had a balcony that overlooks the river which was relaxing after a day spent downtown. There is a trolley stop right on the road out front so you can leave your car at the hotel and ride the trolley downtown.
