It’s exactly the type of motel you’d expect and the kind of “customers” you’d expect as well. I guess if you’re really not in a good place financially, it’s better than living on the street. I think they had a 250-300 dollar deal for a week if I remember correctly. But yeah, it’s the kind of place cops are used to frequenting. Definitely gotta be safe with who you interact with, or better yet, just don’t interact with anyone.

However, the provided customer reviews offer critical insights into the actual guest experience, which should be carefully considered:
Expectations vs. Reality: One reviewer frankly states, "It’s exactly the type of motel you’d expect and the kind of 'customers' you’d expect as well." This suggests that the hotel aligns with common perceptions of budget motels, which often come with certain challenges. The reviewer implies that the environment might attract a less desirable clientele, stating, "I guess if you’re really not in a good place financially, it’s better than living on the street." This highlights its role as a very low-cost option for those in dire financial circumstances, rather than a comfortable travel accommodation.
Safety Concerns and Interactions: The review explicitly warns about safety, noting, "it’s the kind of place cops are used to frequenting. Definitely gotta be safe with who you interact with, or better yet, just don’t interact with anyone." This raises serious concerns about the overall security and the nature of the guests and activity on the property. The advice to avoid interaction with others is particularly troubling for a hospitality establishment.
Pricing for Extended Stays: The mention of a "250-300 dollar deal for a week" provides a concrete example of the very low weekly rates offered, underscoring its position as a budget-focused extended stay option, even if unofficially categorized as a standard hotel.
Pet Policy and Alleged Illegal Up-Charging: A significant issue arises regarding the pet policy. A guest who "Booked a pet friendly room online" was allegedly "tried to up-charge us 25 for a service animal." The reviewer correctly points out that "It is illegal to up charge for a service animal," indicating a potential violation of ADA regulations and a lack of understanding or adherence to legal requirements by the hotel staff. This incident led the guest to find a "cheaper and more 'pet' friendly" facility elsewhere, highlighting a negative and frustrating experience.
In conclusion, while Days Inn by Wyndham Marietta-Atlanta-Delk Road offers highly competitive pricing, particularly for weekly stays, and provides basic amenities such as free breakfast and Wi-Fi, the customer reviews point to substantial concerns. These include a perceived unsafe environment, the presence of an undesirable clientele, and serious issues with staff knowledge and adherence to legal regulations regarding service animals. For potential guests considering this hotel via a "Hotels Near Of Me" platform, especially those with service animals or those who prioritize safety and a more stable environment, these reviews are critical. It strongly suggests that while the price point may be attractive, it comes with significant potential drawbacks, making it a choice primarily for those with very limited financial options or those who have very low expectations for their stay beyond basic shelter.

May 15, 2025 · Kibbles N bitsBooked a pet friendly room online. When we arrived they tried to up-charge us 25 for a service animal. We did book a pet friendly room. Thankfully we did not pay in advance. Found a pet friendly facility, cheaper and more "pet"friendly. It is illegal to up charge for a service animal. 😒
May 14, 2025 · Jerry BarnetteThe room smells like smoke.Bring your lysol. There are roaches in here.Bring your roach spray. This hotel has been vandalized. Be careful. The front desk is very rude. They do not clean the room. The towels look like the tenants have been washing their cars with it. Bring your own towels. They don't like when you ask them for anything. They get a nasty attitude. You have people outside begging for spare change. The a c unit look like it's about to catch on fire, everything in here is completely old and outdated. Be careful if you choose to stay here.Make sure you have a weapon.
Mar 26, 2025 · Dexter HartnabrigGot in at 2 AM. The front clerk was very nice. Got to the room, the key wouldn't work. The clerk had to go up and let us in, he turned on the heater and checked the TV. The heater/air conditioner was soooooo loud it woke us up numerous times in the few hours we had. Got up and noticed there was no hair dryer, no place to hang clothing (if we were staying longer) no ironing board, no alarm clock, no refrigerator, no coffee maker. Bunch of someone's junk in the bedside drawer. And the dresser drawers were dirty inside! Complained to the morning staff and was told that Wyndham doesn't require those items in their rooms anymore. The manager should be made aware of these things. NEVER AGAIN.
Apr 13, 2025 · Laura IntgroenWhere do I even begin. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The beds had random yellow stains. The comforter had a hole in the middle of it. The fridge had throw up on it(I think it was throw up). Random brown stuff on walls. Not sanitary at all. People live here. $170 for 2 nights 10/10 would never recommend. We ended up sleeping in our van.
